Imagine if he hadn’t spent the first few years of his prime in the USFL.
imagine if he played now where backs who can catch out of the back field are flourishing, he would have been a pro football hall of famer
The first few years of a career is warm up.. he showed up in the NFL right on time..
JACOB'S LADDER not for a Running Back. Those early years are almost always your best due to the the low cumulative ‘mileage’
@@Sticktothemodels yes this is true however certain individuals not many have a nack that gets better and better each year for running backs these days you gotta get em early back then (I was in highschool in the lare 70s) running backs had really great careers 8,9,10 years into their game. So yes the years missed only stopped him from having more yardage in the NFL however your prime is not when you begin your career.
@@stealthiscool ...over 18,000 all purpose NFL yards, he should still be a hall of famer!
The fact that this guy was as big as a TE and as fast as a WR is insane
That 10 year period from '85 to '95 was the greatest for running backs. Walter, Herschel, Bo, Barry, Emmitt, just to name a few.
Sad how now and days the NFL devalues running backs.
Walker definitely one of the best of all time in his position. Power, speed , agility,. He had it all. Very smart player
The cowboys really pulled off one of the greatest train robberies in 1989
I just commented this. Lol. My dad talked about this in 89 to years to come. Lol. Great memories.
Trade robbery * although hershel moves like a train lol
Umar Suleman a train that ran out of steam. Lol
I grew up watching him run over people. One of the best backs Strong fast with good hands
Best highlights upload of walker, thank you
Incredible athlete , you run the ball north and south . You deliver the blow , that's football
One of my favorite running backs ever. He still looks like he can play.
He hasn't aged!
Never lifted a weight in his life, thousands of sit ups and push ups a day. Incredible.
Only ppl who never trained seriously a day in their life believe this stuff 😅🤦🏾♂️
Jim Brown was a freak of nature in his era. He was a great athlete, including Lacrosse, Boxing, Basketball, etc.
God bless you on your trip to the top, you are grace !!!!
He is just unreal.
As a Georgia Bulldog fan, he will always be the greatest 💪 a dawg through and through
That man was a beast 💪.
Go Dawgs! best UGA football player ever hands down
Maybe the best college football player ever
@Brett over Barry Sanders?
Facto
I'm a gator fan
What Hudson Brown said is 100% fact
If he played his senior year he probably would have ran for 7,000 yards in college .That would have been a record.
He would have been dominating as a defensive end or linebacker. What an epic athlete.
I remembered him as a big, fast, north-south runner -- but I didn't realize he was so elusive (at least early in his career) and good at catching the ball on more than just dump-off passes and screens -- his speed was enough to run deep routes like a WR.
Herschel was ahead of his time, sadly. I don't think a running back like he was fit into the 80's NFL, but he would have been great in the 90's on. He deserved better than what happened in his career.
fixxxer3456 he’d be considered one of the all-time greats. Even if he didn’t get the 2,400 rushing Yard season like he did in the USFL, I think he’d get at least one 2,000 yard season in the NFL
Why wouldn't he fit in the 80's football. He proved that
@@bigh9884 I kind of agree that he would have done more damage in a pass happy league,he was an excellent receiver and 3 down back. Imagine him in an era of 230 lb linebackers vs the 250 lb guys in the 80s? Even todays speedy light backers couldn't run with him and they sure as hell couldn't hit him straight on 😂
He did great in the 80s, played his prime in the 90s and tanked with a SB contender. You're making no sence at all.
He already proved he fit into the '80s what the heck are you even talking about 🤦🏿
He was such an agile power runner for his size
Christian is also a very confused and Toxic mixed Black Gay Child raised in a bubble with his white mama.
Dude was a beast nobody could tackle him😂😂
@Joe...Hersch should play a compilation of his NFL wins like this one at his rallies between now & Dec.6; super impose the name Warnock on the missed attempts of tacklers 😁
@@trismaccarran9950 the dude is brain damaged and has no idea wtf he's talking about. You're a fucking dummy too
Freak of Nature! & 2020 Patriot!
Damn he was a BEAST ! Also fighting in MMA at age 50!?😲
Over his Amazing career he never seem to lose any pace !! Nice video cheers
I love how Herschel Walker played in almost every NFC East team
Do u guys think he was better than marshawn lynch in his prime? Edit: thanks for all the likes
Without a doubt and it's not even close
Not a chance
100 percent
Much more talented, but Lynch had a better NFL career. Conversely, Walker had a better college career
Lol no
Herschel is one of the finest "football players" I've ever seen. This video displays his ability to execute offensively, but I've always believed that if he was asked to play linebacker, Herschel Walker would have excelled at it. I think he could have done anything. Much underrated.
He’ll be an even better Senator. A true Patriot!
He was bullied as a kid. He used that as motivation to become an amazing athlete. Bet nobody bullies him these days!
Yeah now he abuses his wife. He’s a scumbag
In 2022, the news media relentlessly bullies him.
“When he unloads, he unloads on you” 😂😂
There were 4 great running backs in college football in the early 1980's
Herschel Walker
Eric Dickerson
Bo Jackson
Marcus Dupree
Only one made it to Canton.. but Herschel is deserving.. 🏈
no.... Bo was WAY better
Meh. 2 Pro Bowls and zero All-Pro. 8000 rushing yards at 4.2 per. Not getting into the Hall with his resume. If he hadn't pissed away three seasons in the USFL, his case would be a lot better.
@@csnide6702 Nooo he wasn't but more popular, Herschel was better in College and alot better as a Pro
@@GuapoSantana you bumped your head..... Bo was quite possibly the best athlete of our time.....
@@csnide6702 You bumped your head what does him being a great athlete have to with the the fact that Herschel was just as great a College player and definitely better as a Pro and just as good of an athlete he was bigger, faster and stronger than Bo...Bo was good at two sports and Herschel was an All American in 2 and also participated in Bobsledding at the Olympics and MMA as a 48 yr old.
Wow ! So GLAD you put His NFL Highlights together. When HERSHEL got to DALLAS, Teams were going for his knees to hurt Him. I couldn't bear to watch. From GA. & Big Generals fan.
“Handoff to Herschel !!”
That all we use to hear on Saturdays.
Tony and Herschel were asked a question as to what they saw in tacklers as they hit broken field. Tony said he saw color (i.e. light or dark jersey) and responded accordingly to avoid them. With his speed, that worked. Herschel said he just saw one man at a time, and attempted to beat that one man.
The thing is, it often took more than one. It honestly did. I've never seen anyone drag people like that. He was strong as an **OX,** no question about it. Along with Olympic speed. Literally. Add his USFL career, and I'm not sure, but just maybe the legitimate GOAT. I put him second only to Brown.
Bill Woo He was Brown with world class speed.
OG Beast Mode along w/ Miami’s Larry C 💯
I'm a Gator fan and, of course, hate everything UGA...but have always had nothing but respect for this guy.
Became a fan of Herschel's when he was @ Georgia, & have been a fan of his ever since, he was, & still is an incredible athlete.
And now he is a scumbag right wing nut who can barely put a sentence together.
love watching that man turn the corner. Holy hell.
Can nfl throwback make a career highlight for Randall Cunningham because honestly e deserves it because of punting throwing running and recieving
His leaps, side steps, twists and turns and power were legendary. One hell of a fit human being. He rocked the competition hardcore , and if you didn't have the right angle and grip on his body , he was going to be gone and you were going to be down. What an amazing human being
I went to high school with one of his cousins, and this man wanted to be an FBI agent , just imagine him chasin you down !
Lol.
What you said was funny. I would have hated to be a criminal and running from herschel. I just would have gave up.
bro even bullets dont stand against him. He'll clean the streets with intimidation. Imagine getting chased down to your death bed lmao
this the 1 😭😭😭
Walker...texas ranger
one of the greatest athletes of all time, he is truly blessed
A super athlete personified he treats opposing players like unwanted flakes of dandruff he just brushes them off & continues 2 advance towards the endzone his feet barely touching the ground...simply awsome..wattaguy...
Hershel was a beast
Met him in person at the medley relays at Georgia when he was a freshman. Everyone just stares at him like how can someone that big be that fast.
I met him at the Georgia square mall at a restaurant with his girlfriend and two guys in business suits sitting at table in 1981 and he let me get his autograph.
Now they just stare at him like how can someone be that stupid .
I see why he is the way he is now. You couldn't pay me enough to ruin my brain like that.
What a great receiver he was!
Herschel Walker and Bo Jackson as a kid in the 80s I grew up just mesmerized by te two!!!! I'm a Pats fan and I would dream of them playing for the Pats!!! They're almost identical in size, speed, strength and even both used number 34!!!
Closest thing I ever seen to Bo Jackson. That's saying a lot. Herschel Walker was a freak speed power agility. The only thing he didn't have was good vision at the point of attack.
Love Bo but Before Bo show some respect ... the original 34 BEASTS were Earl Campbell - the Tyler Rose, then Hersch, the original Georgia dawg...I would include Marcus Dupree too (34 Rams, 22 OU) but injuries got the best of him - might of been the best of the bunch!
Corey Robinson That comment is spot on. Pretty much exactly what I was thinking as I watched that video.
Hershel was much better than Bo.
@Micheal Judon Well, your not too strong then if a injury ended your career. Herschel played an entire Sugar Bowl with a dislocated shoulder and broken collar bone. Herschel also had world class speed and did one thousand sit ups a day and one thousand pushups a day. He also had 7 percent less body fat than Bo. And Herschel was in the Olypics. All Bo is famous for is breaking a bat over his knee to show off. Herschel never had to show off. He knew who he was. Also, Herschel was a WWF fighter. Something Bo would have gotten his ass beat in. Herschel > Bo
@Micheal Judon Okay. So what?
Give em their flowers while they're here
Stellar athlete. Played hard, played humble. HOF in my opinion.
Wish I was old enough to watch this live🅿️ them 34’s in the 80s was special (Bo Jack..Walker.. Payton..Thurman Thomas)
Yo! I remember when Herschel Walker dominated the game at Georgia on a collegiate level, then went into the USFL playing for Donald Trump and appeared to be superhuman, but, as a longtime COWBOYS fan, I had completely forgotten that he was one of the greatest players in COWBOYS history! Incredible speed, balance, toughness, power, and receiving ability!
This man needs to be immortalized in the NFL HALL OF FAME!
Bo Jackson with better hands
Hell yeah, but Hershel is > than Lynch!
Hell no No Jackson is not this good
Nope , Hershel was undeniably better stronger and a hair faster .
@@ynot6781 I 100% agree with you
Scott Summers He was slower and not as quick as BO
Greatest running back the Cowboys ever had and they traded him to get the the Super Bowl. Emmitt benefitted by having the best O line ever.
This vid should be a lesson to anyone thinking of getting into politics: DON'T DO IT! People will forget how good you were at your chosen career! Walker was probably the WORST Senate candidate in history, but what a powerhouse on the FB field! Incredible.
@AD-vf3ekThe fact that John Fetterman got a complete pass for all of his blunders during the OZ debate while Herschel got blasted as the worst candidate in history shows hiw much power the left has. This idea of the right wing media machine is the biggest myth in politics. You have to actively look for right wing viewpoints while left wing ones are shoved in your face.
@@CRMdrifter HA! Not a chance. The most subscribed to channels on this site and the most viewed TV news channels are right leaning.
@@notoriouseagle1074 Yeah the reason their the most watched is because they're unique and give the other side of the story. Pretty much every mainstream news source is left wing or left leaning outside fox and the WSJ. And even those are more establishment media. Somebody like Walker who is backed by Trump was going to be put through the shredder while Fetterman was treated with kid gloves.
@@notoriouseagle1074 UA-cam channels are alternative media and honestly the right doesn't dominate the internet like they used too anymore. But all of legacy media is left leaning. Washington post, New York Times, CNN, MSNBC, Huffington Post, Rolling Stone, NBC, ABC, Slate, Salon, etc. They're all left AF. Right wing media needs to be seeked out, left Wing media is shoved down your throat.
It cost when he went off script talking about vampires. Up until then he was doing okay.
He’s Teflon for tacklers.
One of my top five favorite runners to watch. A true fluid beast.
These highlights alone would get my vote
Beast. Will a beast in the senate
