- "Move over, Marvel...move over DC...these Malibu dudes are the whole new wave!" Great TV spot about Malibu. There are interviews with Tom Mason and Chris Ulm, and cameos from other luminaries around the office. There are discussions of DINOSAURS FOR HIRE, STAR TREK: DS9, and hints about the Ultraverse. This originally aired on the Sci-Fi channel. Enjoy!
there was going to be a dinosaurs for hire Cartoon? WHAT!
Move over, Marvel! (Several years later, Marvel now owns Malibu)
several years after marvel went bankrupt and is now doing worse than ever sales wise for there comics
And Marvel totally screwed the Malibu Comics. It's a shame.
Come on Marvel bring back the old Traverse
Ultraverse!!!!
Marvel could bring these character on the today's Marvel Universe, instead keep it all in a vault somewhere....
Just bought 250 of these Malibu books.
Disney: MARVEL what's all this Ultraverse stuff
MARVEL: Oh it's something we bought back before the Crash
Disney: Are they popular
MARVEL: Cult following
Disney: WELL WHY AREN'T YOU PUBLISHING THEM????
MARVEL: SHUT UP DISNEY
I had no idea Men In Black started was a comic book property.
It sucks that they aren't no longer around.
Grendel Vertrue At least we know where Men in Black came from.
Grendel Vertrue Marvel owns them now
@@anonymousaccount4483 And they don't do anything with them.
@@Madbandit77
They bought them for their coloring process
Still MARVEL Ultraverse reboot NOW!!!!
@@snakes3425 I know that. Thanks. :)
Stacy Malibu Comics
The Strangers Is The Best Of All Of Them!.....
I liked Prime and Firearm
At least when DC buys a company, they use their creations, Marvel interfered and destroyed these books, and will probably never use them again.
Apparently there's a creator fee on these properties, but that could get sorted. It's not even that uncommon.
Yeah just look at Vertigo
Yeah, I imagine you could work out a deal that would benefit both parties and bring back these characters but Marvel just doesn't. An interesting, unique super hero universe killed off by Marvel. Meanwhile another universe I really liked, Defiant Comics was killed off by Marvel UK. Marvel just loves to kill off interesting ideas.
Whatever happened to Malibu Comics.
Nice
I don't remember a 'Dinosaurs For Hire' cartoon on Fox. What happened to it?
It wasn't made.
There's only a video game, that's it.
They almost predate valiant comics
Since they absorbed all the Malibu characters this would/should be the place for Marvel writers to explore all their "woke" ideas/stories...but of course since their character don't have the name recognition it probably wouldn't work. Damn.
