Cheers to Darren - Stoked with my 120carbon reef pro... Can't wait to get it in the water. Made it back to Australia yesterday and weather gone to hell here.. I hope you get out on Sunday and smash a few! See you next trip to NZ cheers Dale
LOved my little 650 with twin 12mm rubbers that you made up for me. Perfect for the Braille diving here in Otago - light and maneuverable and while my chest is healing after the operaton, I can load it on my thigh. I like the space to get my trigger finger in with the 5mm glove that I wear in winter...and no safety, saving me a job. I am looking forward to trying it again next week, when the weather is supposed to be clearing up...
wicked gear guys and thank you for all the tips and tricks i am just getting into spearfishing on the coast of perth shallow water haven't worked up the courage to venture out to the deeper waters as there are so many white pointers here.
Hi Jackson. Awesome info thanks. I saw the other day on Insta you guys had a Wettie cuttlefish design. When will you be selling that, what lengths etc etc? Thanks Craig
Hi Craig, we are selling them sorry just taking a bit of time to get up on website. But you can contact us directly if you like they are available in 120cm.
Hi. My wettie speargun spear wasn't locking into the gun today. At first, it felt like it was locked in. So, I put on a rubber and it suddenly flew off. So I check to see if I could pull it out of the locked position (without a rubber on), and it pulled out every time. I also noticed that the trigger wasn't moving much when pulled and the safety button isn't moving when pushed. Any ideas what's going on?
Hi very happy with all my wettie gear so far ,can you tell more about the internals of your mec plse .My current gun is one of your open hybrid guns from bout 7 years ago with a white handle .Still goes good but may buy another gun cant have too much gear ay.
Hi Bob, great to hear its still serving you well. In regards to the internals in our new mechanism, we run an 8mm widen stainless sear to increase durability and allow smooth engage and release for any shaft up to 8mm thick (with mono anchored inside mech). The larger surface area reduces shaft movement. The trigger is connected to sear to ensure faster, reactive release. We took our time with design and testing to ensure we were happy with performance. There are many other details on the function of our design and are welcome to contact us directly if you have anymore questions. Thank you!
Its a preference, some people prefer using two rubbers to give them more power options. Some people prefer single rubber for simplicity and lower profile. Note that there is variation in rubber thicknesses that create many different combinations.
Concise delivery of the information and great prices on the spearguns.
