Yes. A putting with wind video is a must.. I can’t think of anything more frustrating than watching a 12 footer get lifted over the basket and fly 25 long. Help me Mr UA-cam man!!
I have putt with a Mutant when I have a massive headwind. Ive heard some ppl putt with a driver as well. Just to help cut thru the wind and less chances of it being lifted and carried in the wind like a putter
Uh, so my husband is a Joel and we both froze as soon as you popped up. We rewatched the intro a few times just to make sure. Felt like a weird simulation moment. We love your content!
Robbie you're the man! So much help! I've always been nervous for throwing and putting in wind conditions. Having a general idea of what wind does is big time helpful.
Living in Texas we play in 15-25 mph wind all the time. When driving into a headwind, I put massive heizer angle on the disc. The disc heizer flips up and sometimes even then turns all the way over depending on how much snap and heizer angle I gave it. That said, I've had some massive heizer flip to flex shots into the headwind. Now if we could just get rid of the pollen, lol...sigh.
Excellent! As a noodle-arm, I've had reasonable success, in headwinds, going with disc speeds that exceed my arm/form. If you can peg how many levels up the wind is ripping, you can get a semi-normal flight path from a disc you normally leave home.
So what you're saying is in a headwind throw a tilt? Thanks for the tips man. You're a big reason why I got play the game.. Or well got back into the game
HAHAHA "Super not windy" tree shadows blowing around like crazy behind Robbie!! :) hahhaahaha. Love to hear more about max distance while getting close to your target, while using the wind to your advantage. We understand showing the belly of the beast, but if you show that and get distance, what disc do you need to make sure it can fight back after it slows down and get you in the general vicinity of where you are aiming. We know in distance comps, those guys/gals are using every ounce of wind in their favor, and like us , they still need to land in "a" fairway.
Living in KS, sometimes the wind is the main obstacle. Here you must learn not only how to mitigate damage in the wind, but how to take advantage of the wind.
Hey Mr UA-cam man , thanks for the video ! What about changing speeds of discs rather than stability ? Since a headwind effectively makes a disc think it’s being thrown at a higher speed .
Hey mister UA-cam man. Lol. Putting in the wind video would be great. I played a tournament in 40-50 mile winds. and I suffered badly C2 to the pin. Even trying to lay up for par turned to bogeys
I live in Oklahoma and winds are simply a fact of life any time except deep summer. It's not unusual at all to have to play in 25 mph winds. I've thrown my old AJ Destroyer in headwinds for years now. It's a fighter!
just spent an hour and 15 minutes trying to throw in the wind ( 15-20 miles per hour with 25-30 mile per hour gusts ) and it is like trying to make a paper airplane out of soggy paper..Grrrr!
My opinion: Headwind: disc up, up in stability. Tailwind: disc down, down in stability. The headwind basically makes the disc fly like a faster arm is throwing it (which is why most discs turn over) and if you disc up and a touch more overstability, you'll get better distance and flight path. In a tailwind, the disc acts more undertab because the tailwind is takung away spin. Disc down and slightly more understable disc.

The Johnny Tsunami reference alone deserves a like on this video.

It's my Friday, so yeah, it's a pretty good day. Thanks for asking!
YES!!!! You have an Ursus!!! Great disc, ok continue with the rest of your video.
What's up with giving someone a shoutout in the beginning of the video? lol cracks me up cause idk if he's serious about having a good day 🤣
Excellent points made simple with your witty humor.
Can’t wait to see the next video on putting in the wind. 🥏

Best content for beginners and amateurs. Bar none. Thanks Robbie.
Thanks for a vid on wind. I’m already knew all these things, but it’s always nice to be reminded of what wind does to a disc in flight.
Great video Robbie 👊🏾
I would appreciate a video on putting in the wind. I find putting on a windy day to be maddening. Thanks
Johnny Tsunami!😂 I love your references bro lol
This is Def needed. I lost a disc to the water hole bc I misjudged the wind.
It seems like wind gets particularly nasty on water holes.

Man I wish I would have seen this before my tournament yesterday!!! CRAZY winds. I did not play very well.
Thanks for the shoutout Robbie. 🤣
Loving the new vibe to the channel!! Always scheming
Johnny Tsunami has such a good soundtrack. I suggest spotifying it.

I like the Hawaii references. In a round, it's possible to experience all of those in one round. LOL
Good video and definitely helpful for beginners in really windy areas

It’s a love/hate relationship with the wind for me.

Great movie it really helps in DG now wwjtd 😂

At what point is the wind to strong? I live by the coast and wonder a lot of its just impossible. im not very good so idk
It’s alwYs windy where i live, 15+ wind is routine spring and summer. Head wind kills me!
I can't tell if I'm too old, too young, or too poor to know who's Tommy tsunami is.
I had to look up Johnny tsunami

I would have gone with tantamount.
I throw further in a headwind, than I do in an equal strength tailwind.
i want to throw my super understable 13 speed into a headwind again so i can try a skamahawk
Anyone else lose like 70ft of distance with strong tailwind
WWRCD?
Ok. Who’s Joel??
