  • The F60 Pro IV 1950kv and 2550kv have been out for some time. I've been waiting patiently to get my hands on a set of 1750kv. I finally got a set of them for review. Although i was sent these motors for review i am not required to say anything nice about them. If you have any questions feel free to drop them in the comments. Thanks for watching :)

    I took everything off my marmot because I thougt i was having vibrations from the frame, but you have none of that, so it must be something in the dshot setup. So now you gave me a bunch of work to do putting it all back together. So yah, thanks for that.
    This is great flying, Great vid.

      Haha thanks man. Yea I’ve never had any kind of vibration or oscillation issues with my marmotte. It’s always flown great. Hope you get yours sorted out!

    there is also another reason for the larger number of spokes - the more spokes, the higher the resonance frequency of the bell during operation (the same thing applies to car rims) :D

    Me too. It's my go to. The V2 has a bigger stator and is one monster. It pissed me off V2 came out two months later. It's a way different and should have been called pro 5

    • @Sky-wakka
      @Sky-wakka  3 роки тому

      Yea I saw that when the v2 came out. What’s the difference between the pro iv and the v2?

      @@Sky-wakka The V2 has a way bigger stator. I was really surprised to see how much bigger the bell was. You definitely can't mix and match V1 with V2. The windings are a different color. Assuming that's the enamel coating over the silver windings. Only the best on the F60. There one gram heavier also. You will be surprised to see how much bigger the bell and stator are. When I get home I'll pull off the bell and measure the stator to see how much bigger it is. Take care

      @@Sky-wakka I measured the stator. It's now a 22,08. Big beafy motor. Definitely interesting direction to go and call it V2. Have a good one

    What the different f60 with f40? which one best for freestyle?

    • @Sky-wakka
      @Sky-wakka  3 роки тому

      F60’s are a 2207, f40’s are a 2306. I definitely prefer f60’s when it comes to freestyle

    • @Sky-wakka
      @Sky-wakka  3 роки тому

      You can run them on 4s but I would recommend 2500kv for 4s. These motors are meant for 6s but can be ran on 4s

  • @stevejhkhfda
    @stevejhkhfda 4 роки тому +1

    they reduced the size in order to save weight, the v3 were 2207.5 and 2306.5 size - the v3 were absolute beasts Im sad they went back to normal 2207/2306 tbh...

    • @Sky-wakka
      @Sky-wakka  4 роки тому

      Yea they do feel noticeably different from the v2 and v3’s. Can’t even find a set of the older ones anymore, in 1750kv anyway

      @@Sky-wakka yeah it sucks...BG had some of the red ones which I loved...I tell you the F40 v3 2600 were some of the most sickest gut punch of any motor - felt like 6s when flying 4s...I might check out the Smoox...

    Hi Bro! What is your flight time with the F40?

    • @Sky-wakka

      About 3-4min depending how hard I’m flying

  • @supermendi0078

    How much flight time do you get with these?

    • @Sky-wakka
      @Sky-wakka  3 роки тому +2

      On 6s I get about 3-4 min depending on the lipo. Normally I use infinity 1150mah 6s so they’re smaller and flights are shorter but they’re a lot lighter than a 1300. I usually get about 3min on the 1150’s and gemfan 5043

    i bought a cheap Chinese drone kit. It is my first ever drone other than a dji spark but thats obviously nowhere near as nimble or fast or anything like a fpv race/stunt drone is.. its a 250 size drone. it came with a cc3d FC and four 12amp esc's.. Since getting it and building it ive upgraded to a Kakute f7 v1.5 FC and tekko 32 f3 4in1 45amp ESC. also upgraded all the wiring to thicker wires. i basically upgraded every part on it so far except for the frame and motors. The frame is a standard carbon fiber and aluminum frame which ill be keeping, and the motors are 1806 2280kv. Ive been running it on 3s cuz idk what the motors can handle. Ive had a few people recommend these exact motors to me and from what ive read and seen on youtube videos people love them. But i have a few questions.. Would these be a huge good upgrade from the motors i have currently? as far as torque, speed, and reliability? can these do 3s-6s? and what prop do you recommend for them? I'm a noob at this. any recommendations would be helpful.

    • @Sky-wakka
      @Sky-wakka  3 роки тому +1

      Yes they would be a big upgrade in terms of power, durability and speed. These motors in 1750kv are meant to be run on 6s. You’d probably want to go for the 2500kv if you don’t want to switch to 6s. Honestly I would run the 2500kv on 4s but since the kv is higher than what your used to it will still have more power and speed. I would suggest a 5” prop if you can fit it on your frame. I run gemfan windancers which are a 5043 but I’m running much higher rpm than you would. You’ll probably want something more aggressive like 5046. I’d go for gemfan props, I’ve been running gemfan for years and love their props.

      @@Sky-wakka i do want to do 6s eventually but till im confident is being able to stay in the air in full manual mode (acro) then im limiting the power. Thats why i want the ability to do 3-6s. But cool man. thank you for the info.

    • @Sky-wakka
      @Sky-wakka  3 роки тому

      Oh I gotcha. Yea what you could also do is limit your throttle when you do eventually switch to 6s just to feel it out or whatever.
