Tripp Lite 1500VA 900W UPS Battery Replacement

Don't just throw these away when the batteries stop working, replace them for a fraction of the costs! Model in the video is the Tripp Lite UPS Smart 1500VA 900W. Most backup power supplies are very similar, remove front cover, remove battery holders/clamps, carefully unhook and remove batteries, and replace with same sized batteries.

Thanks for the video. The T in the model number is for Tower I believe by the way as the Smart1500LCD without the T is one of the rack mountable ones.

I have 3 of these ups brand new. they were stored for almost 2 years and they won’t turn on, is this behavior normal? shouldn’t they turn on even the battery is dead? if I purchase new batteries for them, will they revive?

If the batteries are completely bad they might not turn on.

The UPS should be connected to house A/C for eight hours, if not charge then replace Battery.
