For anyone looking for more advanced setups, this UPS does not function properly with NUT. It will connect to the software but only reboots the UPS on low battery. Shutdown delay doesnt work either. I ended up having to return this UPS and bought a APC back-ups pro and a rack shelf
I love My Tripplite 1500LCDXL I bought the Expandable Version because I have a lot that is in My rack at the moment plus I wanted longer Run time so I bought the 1500LCDXL and the BP24V15RT2U for the Tripplite 1500LCDXL

Thanks for the info. Just unboxed mine - same unit. Wasn't sure if the side panel brakets would support the weight. Looks like yours installed and stayed okay.
I noticed mine powered up, then shut down when I plugged it in. Hold the power button for one second, also powered up, then off. Hold the power button for two seconds +, beeps and powers up.
I think the main issue was that people were reporting that it doesn't boot back up automatically after the battery is exhausted. Have you had a chance to test this out yet?
Yes, many times with no issues.
Is there specs on the battery?
I wonder how far you should trust the bad reviews on Amazon lately.

You did not shot the installation ha ha. And all the connection mounted to the UPS.
Tripp Lite is the most problematic out of my three. The others are APC, CyberPower. The rackmount ears are a freakin joke. This must be a new model as mine does not have holes on each side for rack mounting. This unit is way too heady to not have rack mounts on each side.
Yes , mine must be a newer model as I have had not of these issues. Over all I have had no issues, the unit has kicked in countless number of times as I’ve experienced power outages. Sorry to hear about your issues with yours. I would definitely contact Tripp Lite if I was in your position.
Are you still using this UPS?
Yes I am, it has powered through multiple power outages and still working great!

Yes, no issues so far. No complaints.
