Wouldn’t a longer dropper fix your seat post issue? I just went on my first ride and noticed the seat was on the way on the descends, once I lowered it the issue went away. I’m swapping for a longer dropper and it should be fine.

No, the seat tube is 10mm longer than the competition and doesn't allow for full insertion of the Fox Transfer 200mm dropper.

Nice review! Did you go with the Medium with your comment of sizing down?

@@richardnakatani9206 I’m 5’ 11” and rode the size large as most the geo matched my current bikes. If I were to purchase the bike I would probably go with the medium for bike park and shuttles, but I imagine it would not pedal as well. I’ve found some bikes fit better at my height.

Wish the brands like Yeti and Spesh would go ahead and evolve geometry a bit more. Ain't broke don't fix it is a lazy way of thinking at a certain point, particularly with short stack and CS designs. I mean, Yeti even invests in size specific CS but their biggest enduro bike in a size L gives you a measly 437? C'mon...

its 441 in Large if you talkin about the sb160. 165 is more of a bikepark shredder than pure enduro race machine so its not supposed to be that long..

I totally agree on the stack especially if as marketed this is a rip over race bike. Short stays are fun. However, the race bike SB160 is still only 441 large.

The word loam should be banned along with confidence inspiring, mid stroke support, and playful/poppy.
