It is not the same. You can have an impact modified windshield that has not gone through certification process with the department of transportation (DOT).
We sell a Novus windshield acrylic cleaner! Definitely do not use anything abrasive or ammonia based to clean off. Something like a micro fiber cloth. We also recommend a wax on/wax off (while reciting those words audibly) method to get the best shine 🤗

We’re gonna order one for our 97 txt But I have a question we bought a trailer for our cart and we found out the hard way that we needed a longer trailer than 8 ft since we have the added seat on the back. But it we put it on the trailer reverse that it fits just hangs over the front a bit. Would there be any problems with hulling it that way with the wind blowing it wonder if it would put strain on the windshield
Yep impact modified and mechanical hinges. I like using the clear with a tinted top, best of both worlds.
Mechanical hinges? My strip connecting top/bottom broke. What’s the fix?
I was driving one of the first golf carts and I hit a bump and the windshield fell of how do I put it back on?

We recommend taking your windshield off while towing a golf cart so it doesn’t get damaged or get blown off.
