When I first started this build there want v really any mounts available for it so taking mounts that weren’t meant for this and getting the engine where I wanted it was challenging. And yes the column was a pain. But using a combination of stock manifolds made it easier then other available options
Still working on mine. Just finished the rear 3-link Panhard, now doing wiring. Hopefully it’s running in about two months. I really didn’t cheap out anywhere on mine and it’s going to be a 20k build. And that’s with me fabing everything.
@@MRE_Motorsports I might make a channel for it and post a few videos. But that’s probably it. I’ve done some YT and forum stuff in the past for other hobbies I have and it’s just so time consuming. It’s been nice to just build it and mostly keep it to myself.

I’m worried about my rad setup. Running a similar size one to yours but my intercooler is lower and only covers about a third of it. I’ve been building mine with just ideas in my head. Really stayed away from the internet with this build. Just haven’t felt like making or trying to make a deal out of it. Thanks for posting
Has anyone ever done a K swap in a ranger? If it’s doable I think it’s a good idea. Would help get weight distribution more even front to rear for a truck like I’m building.
What axels and brakes did you use on the ranger I want to build a 5.3 swap but I know launching on stock axels Is a really bad idea did you upgrade them?

Trying to stuff a bbc in mine...figure theyve been doing it on the fox bodies, it's gotta work in one of these LOL! love the truck, any plans on putting a cage in it for the future? You did say it was a street truck, but with the trips to the strip and the ETs youre pushing, it's gotta be getting close right ?

No. All stock suspension and leaving on the foot brake

Just stock axles in the 8.8, nothing fancy.
What rear end setup are u running?
I mentioned that in this video. Its an explorer 8.8
What header setup were u running before the turbo?
Was using stock manifolds. Searched my works core yard for ones that would work best.

Some 15x8s that I got off ebay if I remember right. They are std 4wd ranger size I believe. 235/75r15 mud tires

Thanks. I don't "PLAN" on putting a cage in this one since it's a street truck. Its currently due for a 6pt at minimum.
I know a 460 swap has been done on a ranger before so I'd say you should be able to do a BBC in one. Frames are just narrow on the ranger.
