540i has the B58, which is more than enough power for daily driving, and is super reliable. can't say the same about the others.

I'm afraid all this 0-60 malarky is pointless in todays overcrowded roads strewn withn speed cameras and police in unmarked cars. BTW it's 'Pounds foot of torque' The amount of twist needed to move x Pounds by one foot.

I am going to wait for 2024 535i series. Curent bmw lineup has stupid dashboard and I cant get on board with that. I dont want two I pads for dash board. I want dial gauges

Those are all great cars, and those all have relatively bad reliabilities. In the end, the best are for you is associated to which one of those have the best after-sales support in your country. Unless you're a mechanic yourself....

i traded a 2021 Genesis G80 a week ago to get away from it, trust me you don't want to be left holding the bag on a Genesis right now, their dealerships are closing left and right and the local Hyundai dealerships refuse to do warranty work on them or maintenance...great car, ripoff dealership. Traded for a new BMW 540I....

The BMW i5m50 is a great looking car. I was hoping to get one but learning that it carries a BRUSH TYPE MOTOR just pissed me off. Mark my words: THIS WILL BE A GREAT INSULT AND LIABILITY FOR BMW. I am an Electrical Engineer and BOARB CERTIFIED MASTER ELECTRICIAN of America. These BRUSH TYPE MOTORS are neither reliable or dependable. It will not be too long for they to start failing without warning. This will be a SAFETY HAZARD that will lead to massive CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT and massive recall. Why the management is putting the company through this is beyond me. This car needs LFP Battery and a proper motor and it will be a serious contender, a force to recon with.
