Beware of thrift store finds. There is a very serious outbreak of bedbugs throughout the USA. A friend of mine who owns a pest control company warned me that 95 percent of his business is now bed bug remediation. They hide in the cracks of paintings, furniture and yes baskets. They are flat and clear and hard to see. I used to be a thrift store Queen but now I won't even walk into one.
You should use some s hooks in the closet in front of the solar components. You could hang hats, tank tops, bras, and other things that can hand and would still allow air flow.
I love that you show the inevitable fails that unexpectedly happen and just roll with it and go to plan "B". Lot's of good tips. As far as I'm concerned, anytime you can make use of leftover materials, do it! I do some woodworking and have been amazed at how many times I've been able to use a small peice of wood left from something else.
You’ve been such a big help/ inspiration in my RV journey! We’re not traveling but my bf and I bought our 1st RV to live in full time! We’re so excited! Note: the NY winter has been ROUGH on us. If you have any tips or have a video on winter living I’d love you hear them/ see it!
Love Nano/Alien tape!! The reason command strips do not work for many of us is because we are not full time. Our rigs get very hot in the summer because we are not in it. Very cold in the winter. Command hooks just drop off the wall. Nano does great in all weather. Although if my rig has been sitting in extreme weather I'll go around and press my stuff just to make sure the nano is in full contact. Also best way to remove it is to twist the item then pull it off the wall. Hope this helps. Btw I love your videos.
If you ditched all the plastic, what did you do with those ball cap hangers you had in your closet? I am finding that some nice plastic containers help organize my pantry and I found that mushroom produce containers (blue plastic) with the top lip cut off fit perfectly in my narrow cabinets to hold K-Cups. I even clean and keep Coffee-Mate creamer bottles to use for storage of pourable contents (Splenda, Coconut Flour, Almond Flour, Flaxseed Meal, etc.) in my pantry in my home and in my RV. Those don't cost me anything. And the Command hooks I have are black metal. I like the little wood hooks you made with the decorative knobs. A suggestion for your closet with the equipment is to fix a rod going from the front to back rather than from side to side. I have a small closet like that in my RV that is only 10 inches deep but 2' wide and long enough to hang a dress. I also have a normal-sized closet. Under the hanging rack, you could possibly put in a metal shoe rack or metal open shelves for storage in the bottom, next to the equipment. I went into the Dollar Tree today and loaded up on spices. I don't know if you've ever given that tip out to your viewers, but I spent 25 dollars on spices today that would have cost me $150 had I bought them all at Walmart or through Amazon. Do more Dollar Tree shopping and make some more magic. I enjoy your suggestions and I have implemented many.
Charity when you are using E6000 put a drop of hot glue down around your E6000 will give an immediate hold while you’re waiting your 24 hours for E6000 to dry. Real game changer! Now question…why did you just eyeball putting up your cute new wall holders. My OCD self would have used a level put a couple of dots on the wall so when you stuck them on you would know they are level and not crooked! You made me cringe when you just stuck it on. I do like your idea though with the knobs. #safetravels
I noticed several tshirts hanging, wouldn't they take less space if rolled and perhaps a narrow book shelf added on the top of the wood chest, still leaving marginal room for hanging jackets. I love your HOW TO tips..Thank you for sharing.
I'm missing something. What is the purpose of no plastics? That wasn't explained. Is it a tree hugger purpose, or is it because plastics degrade? Remember when you replace something that was plastic, and you dispose of the plastic item not all plastics are recyclable. If they are a thermoplastic it can be recycled, but if they are a thermoset plastic then no deal.
My concern isn't your re arranging storage.. Again. But you have two young adults, a boy and girl. They need more privacy than a bunk bed in the livingroom
No plastic but yet you drink bottled water? I guess cut back where you can. How about replace the plastic as it wears out rather than chuck it when it is still useable.
We never “chuck” anything usable but rather either donate it OR my new favorite are the buy nothing groups on Facebook where people offer up items for free for those who can use them. Thanks for watching
You don't make sense! In 2 other videos, you do nothing but talk about the must haves that are mostly all plastics!! So which is it...plastic must haves or no plastics? You're confusing!
Good tips and most excited that you are finding ways to avoid plastic.
Glad it was helpful!

soo proud of you for not using plastic. well done! Also, always look forward to your organizing vids.
Thank you!

👍🏻
All those people grabbing things, that’s a big NOPE for me. My ocd would not handle that, but I’d go back when it’s not so busy.😅
Only problem with your thought process is it'll all be gone.
I think the knobs are going to pop off in time. I would have drilled and screwed them to the wood. Love nano tape.
Time will tell! Thanks for watching
I was thinking the same thing; countersunk screws would be way stronger than glue holding onto spray paint on the surface of the wood.
This was a great video. I even enjoyed hearing about the DNA test product. Anything on organization I love! Can’t wait to see the finished remodel.
Yes! Thank you!
Thanks for all your videos. My house sale is final and I just purchased my first rv today. I've been watching your videos and I'm really inspired ❤
How exciting! Best wishes and maybe we will see you out there!
@@GratefulGlamper that would be awesome 😎

Great options for storage instead of plastic bins🤗
Love the no plastic which is soooo hard when organizing. I try and fail every time. Nice!
Thanks!
We also found the command strips will fail here in west central Florida, good tips

If you pack things in front of your solar/battery system, it will overheat, and you may have to replace it all. Big Bucks!

Thanks for the great tips!
Also, didn't know if anyone else was having trouble, but there were a few glitches in the video (see 5:34)
Thanks for letting us know!
Interesting new sponsor.
Great tips and ideas!❤
Thanks for watching
Enjoyed your video.
Thank you!
Good job❤
Thanks!
Replacing plastic for wood considering weight is not an oppotion for us😊
Understood!
I get that "nano" tape at temu on the cheap, it works great.
Awesome!
Oooo but I love a good plastic!

Great idea. Thanks for sharing
Any issues removing the nano tape?
I’ve found when removing go slow and use heat

So liquidation store is a thrift store?
A liquidation store is different from a thrift store. It’s mostly returned merchandise being sold on the cheap.
So why no plastic? I don't get it?
She said bc she thinks other materials look more aesthetically pleasing
You are wanting to avoid plastic, but don't you have weight limits you have to worry about?
Our GVWR is higher than most since we have an older diesel pusher. Thanks for watching
Never spray paint that close to anything, I bet you now have overspray on your Expedition
👍🇺🇲
What are you going to do when you are empty nester's ???? like the rest of us ???
Travel more!!!

Stay tuned…bed/sleeping arrangement mod coming next weekend.

How many plastic water bottles do you use!?@@GratefulGlamper
Less THAN $100

No genetic testing for me. They are not what you think they are
