But they did do it, didn't they? So they were right to be confident.
To be fair, if I'm given 100 tries for something, unless it's "this is completely impossible", I will expect that at some point I'll succeed. And the posing of the Barbie certainly helped a lot.

Ngl, one of my favorite things about this whole show is just seeing how much Ben & Adam are able to accomplish just by going on the charm offensive.
The Virgin airlines google flights pricing error is REALLY common for Australian domestic flights. I've tried to get Virgin to honour it and they flat out refuse. Ben and Adam are so damn lovely they got it honoured on the spot! I haven't tried it for a flight leaving in an hour though, might add to the urgency a little.

It’s definitely the least niche delivery of this format to date since the creators work hard to ensure that it can watched by nearly anyone, and it’s very successful even if it doesn’t have the million subs to back it up. It’s still however a niche UA-cam format and therefore not everyone is going to like it or be as invested in it as the biggest fans, regardless even if it doesn’t seem successful it is.
Also want to thank whoever captions JetLag. They're always so accurate, so inclusive and i love the colour coding
They buy them from Caption+, same as Tom Scott, definitely wish more creators used them.

It's Ben and Adam's job to create the games I think. So whenever they aren't filming, they're devising the next game or other future ones. They do their job well, that's for sure.

ANZAC Day is the biggest one in Australia. They usually have a dawn service and then one later in the morning. I’ve been to the one in this video for a dawn service, it had a pretty massive crowd, especially for Hobart.

it’s SO cool to see a game like this in a place you go to everyday, i’m mostly saying this about melbourne and i feel like for that reason this might become my favourite season
I’m so hyped for Melbourne because seeing them do challenges in places I recognise and have been to will be nuts
I took very similar routes to them when I went to Japan about a month before the series came out, so I kept getting deja vu.

I have always appreciated how most challenges are themed around the country they are playing in. For example the rock carving one is great! Now someone of you tell me who thought of “You have a 100 tries to land a shrimp on a Barbie doll”? Was it Ben? It was Ben, wasn’t he?

As a Tasmanian it is great to see Tassie represented instead of being forgotten! Shame you could not have seen more of the state. It will probably never happen but you could easily make a series across the entire state.
I LOVE that Toby is back. She is by far my favourite guest - she is so sweet, humble and has a calm energy, yet she's still competitive and clever, just: not so "in your face" about it. I am looking forward to the rest of the season (gonna watch the second episode in Nebula in a minute, I'm just here for a refresher ^_~) and I would love for her to come back in the future to another season. She is absolutely lovely and vibes so well with the boys.

When the game starts with Ben saying, "This is going to be a hard game." and Toby using a theoretical formula to calculate her strategy, you know this is going to be bloomin' sweet as. This looks like it might be my favorite game design yet.

Salted caramel is a thing and the flavour combination is mostly salt and caramel (and chocolate, but that's often paired with salted caramel).

3: What happens if a team runs out of money before the day is over? How would the bets work?
We haven't gotten to day 2 yet but I imagine there's a small daily stake as well. You could still run out on day 4 though.
Each team gets $250 at the start of each game day.

3: They lose? If they wanted to go "all in" they would probably just bet everything minus 1 or 10 or 100 or some small value like that for backup purposes.
Worst case scenario they wait until the next day when they get $250 (just like MTP311 said). It was mentioned on the podcast.
Toby's Jet Lag themed earrings and nail paint is adorable
FairPoint about Tassie, as a Tasmanian there isn't much to do for tourists than sightseeing and reading the history of a place that hasn't done much. The funnest things to do are look at some old trains, go to the huge nature preserves, go to the top of mount wellington or get on the spirit of Tasmania to leave.
And the Jet Lag nails omg Toby came to play and slay 💅
As a gold coaster i’m so excited to see where these guys go and how they possibly use the city for the end game. Also so surreal to watch this show and actually recognise places. Also Toby and Sam feeling the struggle of infrequent gold coast public transport couldn’t be more real.

It would probably work pretty well, honestly. Canada has a similar size, population density and concentration structure, and number and size of administrative regions. Collecting the territories might be hard though, because there are very few flights up there and basically no public transport
@@dominicpancella3012 Multiple flights a day to Whitehorse, Yukon with Air North from Vancouver and Calgary, multiple flights to NWT and Nunavut as well through Canadian North from various airports in Alberta (or even connections with Air North). Not much for good public transit connections outside of each territory's capital, but I believe all three capitals do have public transport with busses, so as long as the challenges stayed within the capitals that should be doable enough.

The trailer was last Wednesday and I thought that the 1st episode would air on Nebula this week and then here on UA-cam next week.

I mean, for the Carnie one, it depends on what KC multiplier they used. Since there was a 60% chance to win (Based on what the buckets worker said), they could have wagered anything between 1046 and 105 dollars. So, if they continued to use the KC calculator for that challenge, they must have used a little less than half kelly. But in my opinion, they didn't use Half Kelly since anything higher than quarter Kelly is dumb.
There's no such thing as professional gambler. That's like saying "professional drug taker" or "professional alcohol drinker". It's just addiction, dude.
