@@livethefuture2492I would've went a bit more easter like having the center of the map in Czechia, and having the locations in like Poland, Hungary and Southern Germany, or sth like that. I have been waiting for another season of jet lag for ages . This channel is one’s of those sources of entertainment that are really educational but fun at the same time . I really appreciate the time they take to make these videos as good as they can be for us viewers. ❤❤
I'd love to see a version of this game where instead of rotating who the runner is, the person that physically tags the runner gets to be the next runner. It would introduce an interesting dynamic of needing to cooperate with your fellow chaser, but also compete against them so you can have an opportunity to run, as well as the ability to block your opponents from getting opportunities to get closer to their end destination.
I hope someone told them they can just hop on another train if their train gets cancelled in Germany. Last season was a trip! Surprised to see they're starting in the same place, but hey, I hope there's many more seasons and they can do countries like Spain/Portugal, or Poland/ Czech Republic next!
I'm also surprised they started in the same place and kept the same target destinations which feel very unbalanced. While I'm french and I love seeing them travel through France struggling with the public transportation I'm used to (very funny), this game feels more like a "Tag [Western Europe] it". They could have made the map bigger to encapsulate more of Europe but I suppose there are legitimate reasons behind it and I get it (Ukraine war prevents locations in eastern Europe, cost of production, the game needs to be short enough, language barrier, and more)
@@d.6593 Could work! But I think that if the map becomes bigger in the future, some rules will have to be set or modified to ensure the quality of the game both for the players and for the audience :)

The pronunciation of Reims is not evident when you compare it to other words with ei such as reine ou neige. Sometimes I have talked about this city and people thought I was referring to Rennes instead.
I think an interesting alternative would be if no one makes it to their goal, the winner is whoever got the closest in general, not whoever is closest at the end
Or play the game in reverse. They need to get to the middle point starting all from there different location and once they get tagged they need to start over
@@nathanvrvrt I'm really not sure about this idea... The problem with it is that if they start the game already away from each other, the 2 chasers wouldn't be together to strategize which is inconvenient and the person starting as runner would have a massive advantage (since 2 players are supposed to start in less isolated cities, it would be really easy for them to just take 2 or 3 trains and maybe 1 bus straight to the center without any risk of being caught because the other 2 players are too far to even cut off the third one). Additionally, if they had to each come back to their starting position after each tag, it would take them hours to "reset" to their initial positions while the game is paused and only then would the game be able to unpause so it wouldn't be as dynamic/fluid. Overall, if this idea was done on this big map with those key locations, the game would be very unbalanced and less entertaining. Although, on a smaller map, with a small headstart for the chasers, and with more reliable ways of transportation less subject to delays, it could be good. Starting at the center with a headstart for the runner makes the game more challenging, players have to be in a rush much more, they have more occasions to catch up to or tag each other which creates tense moments for the audience, it also keeps the game shorter without spending too much budget in the process which is ideal for production.
The problem with getting the closest in general is that if one player gets really close to the end goal, the time when there would be no incentive to continue playing would earlier compared to S3, when there was still a possibility to win close to the end
A French TGV "gare a betteraves" ("beetroot station", on high-speed lines outside cities) are always gonna screw your tasks because there is simply nothing but car parking. This task would have been very different had Ben got off in Reims.

Fun episode. As someone who knows the LGV Est line pretty well, I have 2 things: 1. I haven't seen any comments about QUITE HOW lucky it was that Lorraine TGV station had Golden Bears at the singular shop in like a 30 mile radius no joke. Insane... I thought there was no way he wouldn't have to veto the challenge at Lorraine. 2. The new 'departure board graphics' in this episode are wrong quite a lot. There definitely isnt a TER (regional train) that goes all the way from Lorraine to Bourdeux, that's a TGV lol

Hey guys just a heads up but "Lorraine" isn't a town lol It's the name of the region, the station is named after it because it's midway between Metz and Nancy (the station is located near the village of "Louvigny") and it was more efficient to build a new station instead of building new tracks from the 2 latter cities to go to the already existing tracks near Louvigny. That's why the station is named "Lorraine TGV" :) Also awesome video it's always cool to see people in my region !!

@RololoTheOneAndOnly I think what they mean is that it would be cheaper for them to do a series mainly in Germany. Although if they're looking for a country that's got cheap public transport, Luxembourg's public transport is free but its small
@@InkFilledCityThey're probably using Interrail (Eurail) anyways to keep the costs down and stay flexible.
They should do germany for the element of surprise. It would be a roll of the dice whether any plan works.
DAMNN the last few minutes were like a movie. The dialogue between adam and the man, and ben and sam it was too funny hahah
Found this channel a few days ago while traveling, home now and still watching, got yourself a new subscriber lol - excellent job
"Mayor Muriel Bowser of Washington DC... with laser eyes, in the middle of the bandstand, basically like destroying the bandstand..." -Sam Denby, 2023
Adam's expressions are the funniest part of this episode
Adam’s POG face is iconic 😂
Found you guys just after the last season and immediately binged all of the seasons, tag was definitely one of my favourites and I'm hyped to be able to watch one of these as they go up live!
7:31 "Confirmed: Ben has passed" 😔
Tag across Europe was my favorite season. So happy you are doing it again!
The real question is, if Ben had stayed on the train, would Adam still have been able to catch him?
love that this is back, but I wish they had chosen different locations and maybe went more towards eastern/central europe insteaed of using the same playing field a second time
They didn't use a lot of the playing field last time. Maybe this time they'll divert quite quickly and we'll get a very different game with locations they haven't been to before. I kinda hope Ben get's to his finish line, because those mountains looked really cool.
While i love the fact that their finally doing tag across Europe again as it was indeed my favorite series, i think they should have at least changed up the locations up a bit to make it a bit different.
I think they should keep the same format but change up the start and end locations, you know like starting off in a more central location like Switzerland instead, with end locations in France, Germany and Italy i think would make for a much more interesting and varied gameplay experience.
instead of it just being predominantly concentrated in France.
So its not just the same dozen locations in France and we get to see more interesting forms of transport and across many different countries in Europe with their own unique transportation systems, make the game more interesting that way. It is called Tag Across *Europe* after all.
i'm happy they're doing this season again. this was the first season i watched of them so it's hitting me like nostalgia
@@livethefuture2492I would've went a bit more easter like having the center of the map in Czechia, and having the locations in like Poland, Hungary and Southern Germany, or sth like that. Like if Deutche bahn is the agent of chaos in this series, they have to meet the Hungarian railways, which is DB, but with spending it's last 30 years on crack.
@@kristofgaborbakai8385
Eastern europe doesn't have high speed rail which is why i think they avoided that side.
It’s hilarious how Sam is a solid 4-5 inches taller than Adam but he still stood in the shorter head cutout 😂
Best title name drop in YT history "Do you know tag?" 24:20
I hope someone told them they can just hop on another train if their train gets cancelled in Germany. Last season was a trip! Surprised to see they're starting in the same place, but hey, I hope there's many more seasons and they can do countries like Spain/Portugal, or Poland/ Czech Republic next!
I'm also surprised they started in the same place and kept the same target destinations which feel very unbalanced.
While I'm french and I love seeing them travel through France struggling with the public transportation I'm used to (very funny), this game feels more like a "Tag [Western Europe] it".
They could have made the map bigger to encapsulate more of Europe but I suppose there are legitimate reasons behind it and I get it (Ukraine war prevents locations in eastern Europe, cost of production, the game needs to be short enough, language barrier, and more)
@@mehdibakhtar2497how about whole central, North and south europe
@@d.6593 Could work! But I think that if the map becomes bigger in the future, some rules will have to be set or modified to ensure the quality of the game both for the players and for the audience :)
Already watched it on Nebula, comment for the algorithm, amazing how fast the turnover between seasons of jetlag is, that's some hard work
Can't wait to see every single episode of this season. As for many others here, Season 3 was my favorite season too.
Adam's reactions to learning of Ben's new moves will always be my favorite part of the show
LOL
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ben:Gets his hand trapped in the vending machine.
Sam: We've learned from our mistakes from the past.
Ben:Gets his trapped in the vending machine again.
Your pronunciation of french town names has gotten better since the first tag across Europe. Especially Reims lol
You're supposed to pronounce the s at the end of Reims but it was close.
The pronunciation of Reims was atrocious. Coming from a French speaker
The pronunciation of Reims is not evident when you compare it to other words with ei such as reine ou neige. Sometimes I have talked about this city and people thought I was referring to Rennes instead.
I'm pretty sure they're deliberately mocking the French pronunciation of Reims
@@aquasdoa1898 It's because the vowel in Reims is nasal, in Rennes (or reine/neige) it's not.
Always with Ben and Adam, funny thing idk why I am always on their side, I just am.
They just have such a good vibe together.
"the failure of the french train system allows Ben to go to Germany"
Me as a French : ...

...
...
Go, Ben !
A French TGV "gare a betteraves" ("beetroot station", on high-speed lines outside cities) are always gonna screw your tasks because there is simply nothing but car parking. This task would have been very different had Ben got off in Reims.
1) TAG IS BACK!
2) Loving the camera shots in the stations i.e. the atmosphere with everyone around during the morning commute.
3) Why on earth are all the stations on LGV Est in the middle of nowhere???
4) I want some of that vending machine pizza
Adam saying: "Delayed by half an hour? Thats a long delay."
Me as a german: "I would say it's still good on time and at least not delayed by 3 hours"
Sam and Adam mentioning Ben is smart and then cutting to him struggling at the vending machine is gold 😂
Not gonna lie, your guys caption work is exceptional. Colour coding them for each person seems like a lot of work, but is much appreciated
“React to it, react to how crazy it looks”
“Mayor Muriel bowser? This not what I not what I voted for” *points disappointingly” 🤣🤣🤣
Tag across Europe was one of my favorites, so I’m happy to see it revisited. Hopefully, someone will get at least close to their destination this time.
as much as i love getting new games, im all here for seeing a second season of each of the series we have already seen! lets goooooo jet lag
Being from the DMV, the laser-eyed Murial Bowser was absolutely hilarious
MY FAVORITE SERIES OF ALL TIME IS BACK LESS GO!!!!!!!
This was the series that got me into Jet Lag, thank you so much for the sequel!!
The Tag Across Europe was my favourite season so far, glad you're doing it again! Can't wait for the next week's episode!
Man, everybody loves tag, but Battle America was my favorite season. Guess I'm the weirdo.
I was actually so happy today. I was waiting for this episode to air. Jet Lag here we go!!
I really hope they make it to Switzerland this time ^^
Fun episode. As someone who knows the LGV Est line pretty well, I have 2 things:
Whoever edited the sequence with Ben at the beginning did him so dirty but it was so funny
Hi guys- great series, but just a minor point that you got wrong last time too, Jersey isn't in the UK. We're part if the British Isles, but not Great Britain or the UK.
This is gonna be another binge for me.
Absolutely love these series.
Wish you would do this in Scandinavia at one point :)
Maybe start in Copenhagen or Oslo.
If it started in Oslo one person would have to go to Stockholm, another to Copenhagen and the last to maybe Bodø in Northern Norway or something like that.
:)
Sooooo I found you guys around this time last year. My boyfriend had just left for school (as had all my “friends” or basically anyone close to my age) and I was so unbelievably lonely. Your Wednesday shows have kept me sane and excited through the weeks. And honestly I can’t believe it’s been a full year. I am in a totally different headspace now, mostky to my own doing in therapy etc butttttt it shouldn’t be understated that watching y’all do these silly games across the globe meant something for me.
Hey guys just a heads up but "Lorraine" isn't a town lol
It's the name of the region, the station is named after it because it's midway between Metz and Nancy (the station is located near the village of "Louvigny") and it was more efficient to build a new station instead of building new tracks from the 2 latter cities to go to the already existing tracks near Louvigny. That's why the station is named "Lorraine TGV" :)
Also awesome video it's always cool to see people in my region !!
23:31 "I excecuted my friend, so he will not be coming on this train"
Sam and Adam: “He’s got a big brain”
Ben: getting his hand stuck in the vending machine
I think you guys should do one of these within a city's public transit system, requiring a list of locations to be visited by each player.
London would work really well
Adam asking Ben "why didn't you hide!?" is exactly my question.... it's like he doesn't care 😂
as someone with apd I really appreciate the detailed, color coded (AND NOT AUTOGENERATED) captions.
Legit one of the best youtube channels out rn, idk how every vid isnt getting 10 million views minimum
It’s back! It’s finally back!
I am honestly so impressed that Ben got the gummy bears right on his first try
Right? They all taste the same to me
On the layover, Ben said that that was something he was good at and Sam and Adam Said they would have thought it would be harder.
Dude knew it was apple in like a millisecond. Ben: Flavor Savant.
I feel like, if anyone eats gummy bears enough to recognize them, it's Ben.
“He’s just navigating on vibes”
*cuts to Ben absolutely navigating on vibes*
Every Single Day I have Been Checking UA-cam For This And Finally, The Day Ha Arrived. Go Jetlag Season 7!!
Thats crazy that there's a train from the starting point in Season 3 to the ending point in Season 3 as the very first train that the runner takes in this season
23:30 will be very impressed if ep.2 doesn't have the French police waiting at Strasbourg with some questions over the "I caught my friend... he has to stay here for a while" sequence 😂
Would be amusing, but I doubt it. If anyone would be worried they would've just called the station to inquire about any corpses
Dont worry, these extremely conspicuous American tourists arent exactly serial killer material :P
Excited for this season to return! hope its at least more fair this time round unlike last season, especially with Sam being unable to run
Somehow the pun in the thumbnail is just so satisfying every time
THIS WAS MY FAVORITE SERIES, THANK YOU FOR CONTINUING IT!
One of my favorite unintentional features of Jet Lag is shots of sparse, rural landscapes with a player carefully playing the game. It's like Yairo Station again.
