I've always thought the exterior styling of this generation of Grand Cherokee was pretty timeless, even 14 years after they came out, ones that are in good condition look they could be just a couple years old
I really liked my 2 GC's with the 4.7 V8, pretty trouble free engine...too bad the rest of the vehicle wasn't like that...Those engines are one of the BEST sounding V8's around, still today, that's a sweet Limited one too, nice review Christian.
LOVE THE YEARS OF CARS YOU DO INTECH! It's awesome to see cars that are a bit older opposed to cars I could walk into a dealership and see today! You're the best bro
There was an optional HO model that had 30 more HP and lb-ft of torque. It did 0-60 in the mid 6 second range, so it was one of the fastest SUV'S out there then
i just bought mine and man i cant wait to have it on the road so excited
"So it will ride like a donut." I couldn't stop laughing!
I had a diesel one of these, they were surprisingly good inside. The 2009 one I currently own employs the use of bin plastic for half the interior, and even the leather parts such as the door armrests are quite hard. It does look much more classy and luxurious though.
Make sure if ya buy one, u get it inspected. Love both of mine wjs but my limited front driveshaft was removed & I didn't noticed it until I went mudding in the far back roads of Kentucky at 1 in the morning..
I really want one of these Grand Cherokees. I almost got a 01 6-cly Larado a few years back as a present(yeah lol). It needed a new engine. Too bad I couldn't drive back then. It would have been a great project car.
My aunt had a 2003 Limited V8, and she didn't know about the audio controls on the back of the steering wheel until she had the car for four years.
Holy fucking jump cuts!
btw the trip computer lies about the mileage to empty... i can go 10 mi when it says 0 mi to empty in our 2005 grand cherokee v8
According to our mechanic, the 4.7 requires synthetic oil and not a lot of people know that, that's why they tend to fail a lot
Nice truck
I've driven my aunt's 04 Cherokee V8 and an 02 Durango with the 4.7 and I have to say if it wasn't so horribly unreliable it would be a pretty good engine.
El reposavasos delantero donde esta? Se nota que lo ha perdido al igual que otros plasticos. no lo ha probado en carretera, tal vez la caja de cambios automatica falla,
are the breaks adjustable?
Sucks it has a check engine light on, but these things are great, the V8 sometimes has problems. We put 120k on a 2002 and we have a 2005 with 154k. I have a 1994 with the 5.2 and 177k and it runs like new.
Oh yeah they're fine. You know other than the massive sludge issues and the fact that they munch threw head gaskets. My aunt's Jeep is on its 3rd at 66k
Do the Murano CrossCabriolet in the back!!
