I love the fact that people like you, a mommy, takes the time, not just to do playdough the economic way, but also sharing it. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!😊
This video is old but probably the best playdough I have ever made. I don't even buy playdough any more because this stuff is amazing. So soft stays good forever doesn't stick in carpets. Love this recipe.
The best play-dough I’ve ever made. My toddler enjoyed making it with me and is currently having a blast using it with his Easter cookie cutters. Thank you!
My grandmother made us homemade play dough when we were kids. 😊I did put it in my mouth and spit it out 🤣Funny you mentioned that. Good, fond memories that I’m thankful for with my brothers and cousins. Thank you. I’ve also made some. Another good idea with kids is the salt dough ornaments recipe. My kids and I made Christmas ornaments and I so enjoyed that with them and my mom and even with my ex- husband. 🌲
My sensory-seeking toddler needs her play-doh out ALL the time. if I try to put it up she freaks out and I can't keep it around lately bc it dries out instantly! I've looked at a few homemade recipes, but you're the only person I have seen show and tell about it being long lasting! Super excited to make it! Edit (update): My 2yo woke up earlier than usual this morning, so I made the play dough! My child has been OBSESSED with it all day, like way more than the store-bought (and my older 9yo also requested some) and it's been out of any container literally all day bc she won't let me put it up, so around 8 hours now, and it's still 100% soft and good! I am amazing and thrilled! TYSM!
First time of trying out a project I saw on UA-cam successfully! I give your recipe 👍🏾. I substituted lemon juice for cream of tartar and adjusted the water accordingly. I had my nieces playing in no time. One of them just made a garden egg! Thank you
In 2023 yay lol. I have to say, it lasted 4 months before it got crispy, even then only on the edges. This recipe is awesome and LAST. thank you so much ❤
The best playdough recipe I've ever made for autistic children to enjoy and create and have fun freely. It's great for sensory and building finger strength. Thank you for sharing.
I’m a toddler teacher and I’m so glad I found this recipe !!! I already made 3 separate batches of this ! Going to make one for each of my kiddos , with their favorite colors !!!! So excited I found your recipe thank you!!
The best recipe ever!!! Beats expensive store bought playdough anyday!! Hands down best I've tried ( I've tried quite a few) here in India. I substituted 1tsp of water with lemon juice instead of Cream of tartar. Works like magic. I cannot thank you enough. If I ever got to meet you - massive hugs. My 2.10 year old son goes nuts for this. It's lying out for almost 5 hours and still as good as new if sealed in a container after. Thank you!!!! Game changing activity for our home. Bless you❤ Love from India, Banglore.
I made playdoughs using your recipe twice already and both turned out silky smooth and nice to hold. I like that it comes off easily with water when it gets stuck on my toddler's clothes. Also it doesn't harden when left exposed to air unlike the no cook recipes with no tartar. Thought of adding essential oil to the dough to make it smell nice. Thanks for sharing your recipe!
Thank you!!!!! Such an easy and great recipe. Took a few mins longer than you suggested for it to come together. It was sticky for quite a few mins. But it all came together really well!
This was so much fun to do with my daughters. Even liquid food colouring came out with bright beautiful colours. Minimal to no mess. We even added a drop of scented oils so they smell great! Thank you.
Love this recipe!!! Similar to the "play doh" recipe channel and this one is much preferred. It's consistent and ease to make it has made a new "staple" in my home. Thank you!!
the BEST recipe for Play Doh. It's a little bit oily but so soft to play with. my kids love it!!! I tried the other ones but it's not easy to form and play with it.
Just tried this recipe and so far it's been the easiest to work with. The result is really soft and pliable playdough which is non messy. Thankyou for sharing this!
Hi This was the best play dough I’ve ever cooked. It’s so so easy to play with this dough in any way and it reforms back together. I’ll always want to be making this to make my son happy as he loves cutting shapes etc. Thank you !
I made the play-doh! Very impressed! Was super easy! We made another batch yesterday but tripled the recipe and it still worked! Thankyou so much you have kept my 2 year old busy for hours and hours and this mummy has had an amazing rest watching him play
I just made it right now and my son is sooo happy. Loved, loved this recipe it is very soft and so easy to make. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. I will not buy more playdough at the store 😊. Love it!!
Tried it tonight and its great, so soft and smooth and my kids are crazy happy playing with it, even i am using a ball for stress relief lol... and it gives me peace of mind knowing that my kids are playing with something TOTALLY EDIBLE AND NON TOXIC.
thanks for sharing this recipe and tutorial, i just made it for my son, and this one is really soft and easy to make, recommended to remake!! thankyou thankyou
Brilliant. Just did my first batch. It came out beautiful. Versus store bought I would say they are more greasy - I will fine tune the quantity of oil next time. My kid loved doing this with us.
I did it and wow its super easy to make. Just adding the color was easier when you mix it on the table instead of in your hands . When I mixed it in my hands the color was patchy. But it came out great my kids love it thanks !!.
Finally I found the recipe I've been looking for. This is the one I used to make play-doh for my kids in the late 70's and early 80's. I lost the recipe...I now want to make it for my great granddaughter. I always kept it in the fridge...isn't this necessary? Many thanks from Australia 🇦🇺
I found this amazing video during the Covid-19 pandemic to find out how to make non toxic play dough. WHAT LUCK I HAD TO COME ACROSS YOUR VIDEO! This stuff is great! Thank you so very much from my kids and I both. We made fruit, chocolate bars, veggies and Sonic characters.
Well, I made it. I divided the dough enter for and just did basic colors red yellow green and blue.then I made the mistake of giving my two-year-old three of the four colors and he mix them all together so now we have a yellow and gray LOL
