DODGE DART ELECTRICAL GREMLINS FIXED?! - 2014 Dart Alternator Replacement and $15 Ground upgrade!

In todays video we are working a 2014 Dodge Dart with a 2.4 liter motor. There are two parts to this video. First we replace the alternator as the car was not charging the battery and it died while driving . Lastly we dive into some other electrical issues on the car and review an easy DIY ground upgrade that can save you headaches in the future. If you have any weird electrical issues start with the ground cleaning and upgrade. Its super cheap and can save you from taking it to the dealer. I also have some other dart videos linked below. One thing to note is be sure to check your oil level too. I have seen more than one person complain of car shutting off randomly and it was due to low oil.

For installing the Ground Wire we used a 10 MM and a 13 MM. Part number DW449b at Autozone

We used several sizes for the Alternator replaced (Hopefully didn't miss anything)
Battery terminal removal and nut removal from alternator - 10 MM
Alternator removal - 13MM / 1/2 inch
Wheel splash guard - 8 MM
Tensioner bolt - 16 MM (wrench)
