So I ordered both. Tested AirPods Pro 2 and Bose QC2 couple weeks daily now. Literally swapping each headset back and forth in real time in different environments doing calls, music, driving etc coffee shop, loud traffic, gym noise working out etc. BOSE no question leads in noise suppression over all competition including vs Apple pro 2. If your highest priority is best ANC, go BOSE. But After going back-and-forth with both headsets in real time though, imo, Apple is decent at ANC but equal or better in all other feature sets. Ease of pairing, multiple devices, ease of use without digging into separate Bose app, smaller case, better battery, better Siri compatibility, slightly better voice call quality. And, Apple slightly more comfy vs Bose if wearing for hours. And, my ears have issues holding ANY earbuds brand in place without coming loose. I have ALL AirPod models plus others. Bose definitely won’t fall out if you have problematic ears, you literally have to PULL them out lol. And relatively comfy for up to an hour. The Apple pro 2 isn’t as fail proof but stays put stable enough. Overall specs winner: Apple. And I graded the music & movie sound quality carefully, a virtual tie. (And that’s actually considering I was hoping that Bose would be better.) So my testing is done. The BOSE are excellent. But so are Apple pro 2’s for daily living and overall different situations usage, I’m keeping the Apples and returning the Bose. They are a close 2nd but less convenient and cost more.
Ive gotta say. The ANC in Apples part is very sufficient. If you start audio playback, there probably wont be anything left to hear. Except you only listen at 5-10% volume.
I personally went the other way, I returned the AirPods Pro 2 back and kept the Bose. Sturdiness is my main priority, especially because AirPods Pro tend to slip when working out. Also, I already own the gen 1 so I use them for daily use, and then for workouts I use Bose.
@@dagmarreyes7570 I def see that. The Bose DONT slip out and have a better airtight seal. I have gen 1 also, they’re nearly as good as the gen 2. I was on the fence about returning the Bose. They really stay put and sound great. Just the iOS feature set for the AirPods like hey siri, or replying to SMS verbally and voice announcements alerts all of which Bose won’t do. I’m nit picking but that tipped the scales for me. Bose rock for ANC and sturdiness. In the gym nothing is better.
Great review and happy to have subbed. I recently got my QC2 and it feels much better than the previous model. As an airline pilot, i usually do walkarounds with a very loud surrounding. ANC worked extremely well and what surprised me is that while talking to my wife during the walkaround, she wasnt listening to the loud machines around me at all. Not to mention the new light weight design which made it less heavy on my ears. All in all i highly recommended it
Bose is a MUCH better choice for me. I’ve been fighting my AirPod Pros for 2 years now. In ANC mode, my right ear Bud will eventually go out causing a rattle noise that gets really annoying. It’s almost like the driver is blown and you get this really bad rattle. I’ve replaced the right ear Bud TWICE now and the 3rd one just did it again. Let me say that I take VERY good care of my headphones, I have cases for them and I have several pairs of different brands ranging from Soundcore, beats, Jaybirds and a few other leading brands so this issue isn’t from misuse. I’m just simply DONE with Apple AirPods man. Bose QC2 for the win.
I think some of the difference in quiet rooms is ear geometry. My Bose QC buds completely block out my AC 4 feet away with no music, but if I don't have a great seal in my ears, I can detect some hum. I have a smaller ear size which helps with the passive NC that supports the ANC. I really think the noise canceling on the Bose is just destroying the competition right now... But I am less than thrilled with some of the feature tradeoffs at the $300 price point.
I have the new Bose QC 2's and the APP 2's... and have been testing them out. I'll say this... Apple made great improvements on their ANC. They also seem to have improved their multipoint connectivity (though maybe I just didn't notice it as much before... since I avoided using them). The APP's always did a good job of finding them, but now it's practically effortless. Crude example: If I'm listening to Spotify on my iPad/Mac and then rush to the bathroom (bad burrito), it immediately switches over to my iPhone (without me doing anything). Same with Apple TV. The second you switch to a new Apple device, it knows... and either asks you ("Hey, bro...") or does it for you. Again, it's probably always been like that... but I'm noticing it now. I go back and forth over which SOUNDS better. Love the bass on the Bose, but... the APP 2's also sound really nice (a bit... clearer; note: Bose lets you customize the sound, so... Apple can't really compete with that). Where I thought Spatial was gimmicky before, I now feel that... some songs actually sound richer and more 3-dimensional with the APP 2's... though I still hate having to keep my head focused straight (WTF; not something that interests me). As for how they look... oh, the Bose are much cooler (I've always thought the APP's were a little douchey). I also think the touch controls on the Bose QC 2's are much easier (the pinching and grabbing on the APP 2's can be a bit annoying). I don't know. I need to test them out in real-world conditions (loud restaurant, kids). I'm torn at the moment, though. Here's my breakdown (again... so far): Best ANC: Bose (the APP 2's are close, but Bose shuts EVERYTHING out) Best Sonic Footprint: They're split evenly right now. I like the bass on the Bose, but the APP 2's are clean/clear. Best Fit: Different for everyone, but for me... Bose (I don't have to fuck with them; they just... fit) Best Look: Subjective, but I think the Bose look pretty damn cool (and the APP 2's still look silly) Best Charging/Case: APP 2's (smaller case; wireless charging is a plus, though I can live without it) Best Multipoint Connectivity: APP 2's (assuming you're an Apple user; it's all manual with Bose) Best Touch Controls: Bose (I also like that I can create a "Music" mode where it's set halfway between ANC & transparent) Best App: Bose is the only one with an app... but you do need to open the app (whereas APP 2 assistance is baked in if you have an iPhone) Best Price Point: Well... the APP 2's are cheaper I should point out that the Bose are a bit harder to get out of the case. Oh... side note. I read a comment once about how the APPs (either version) have an "Off" mode... and Bose doesn't ("BAM! TAKE THAT, Bose!!!"). Yeah... so? I have two primary modes when it comes to headphones (earbuds or over ear): listening to something and not listening to something. If I'm NOT listening to something, guess what I'm not going to be using? Bingo. So I've never, personally, seen a reason for an "Off" mode... unless, maybe... you accidentally dipped them in super glue and can't get them out (where maybe that's how you'll go through life now... with earbuds permanently attached to your head). That, or maybe some pickpocket took off with your case. You reach down into your sling bag/purse, but realize it's gone... along with the condoms and breath mints. Those were really good mints, too. What a shitty day now. Which one am I leaning toward? Again, I'm torn. I prefer Bose headphones, in general. I don't really care about wireless charging... provided the battery life is good... and both cases last for days (besides, I rarely use earbuds for an extended period of time; if I'm on a plane, I go with my all-time favorites... the wired Bose QC 20's; they have great ANC and soft tips that don't feel heavy after hours of use). Going back to these new models... I have a feeling Bose will win out if only because the touch controls are better (for me), you can create custom listening modes, and they have the best ANC (and I am extremely noise sensitive). You can't really go wrong with either of them, though (or the Sony's). It just depends on what matters most.
@@juliuscalisthenics1168 I'd say it depends most on fit (whichever ones stay in best), but... the QC's are sweat and water resistant. I don't think the APP 2's are, though (but I'm sure they're perfectly fine for a workout). Unless you're drenched in sweat, you'll be fine.
I just returned my AirPod Pro II’s and bought the new Bose QC II’s and I absolutely love them. The ANC is better on Bose. They fit way better in my ear and do not fall out in my ear. The only downside is that the case doesn’t have wireless charging but not really a big deal. I bought these to listen to music and they sound fantastic
I picked up the airpod pro 2's last night and gotta say, the transparency mode is much better than the first gen. Sounds very natural and sounds like I'm not wearing anything in my ears. So far, sounds much better than gen 1. I'm still using my over the head bose qc35s at home while airpods are for on the go, works out just fine.
Same here. I've used Bose going back to their wired headphones and earphones. Finally switched to the AirPod Pro 2nd Gen. They just work with everything Apple. No setup hassles. Not the best ANC but very, very good.
I upgraded from qc1 to qc2 recently, and I'm very happy with it. Especially, the ANC is way better than the 1st one, and I'm pretty sure you can't find better bluetooth earphone with a better ANC than the one from Bose. I use iphone and ipad, and macbook, but airpods still need some time to catch up the quality of the sound from other brands. Bose works great with apple products anyways, I don't worry that much.
Some people mention a white noise in the QC2. I have the QC1 and don't notice any white noise or cabin pressure feel. Do you hear any white noise, and is it loud?
@@thundergusthe white noise is how they achieved the ANC. It’s always there but it’s very quiet. You can’t hear it with music on. So if it would bother you, don’t get it. Let’s say if you wanna use them for sleep.
I think you need to watch and listen to the vids again? Lol the AirPod pro 2 you can heard it slightly louder but echoing. Bose is less echoing and more clear
@@billybrown5941 Bro did you just watch another video? There are worlds between the two videos we say. The air pods sounded super clear and they even cancelled the noices from the traffic. The Bose quality sounded like I am talking to a friend while hiking on a hill with hardcore wind whistling
Not sure why no one does a more detailed review of the microphone performance, especially in a variety of noisy environments. This is my number one concern when buying earbuds. I did appreciate how you at least included a brief example of their sound outside in front of a noisy street. The AirPods were the clear winner in your street test. Thank you.
Agreed. I have yet to find any reviewers spending much time testing the phone call background performance. This is also my biggest complaint about my 1st gen Airpods. When I am out and about (and I live in a large metro/noisy city), I cannot really speak on the phone with my airpods, because people are hearing way too much background noise which makes them useless for that purpose which is extremely frustrating for me. I use a headset in my motorcycle helmet from Sena, and when I speak on the phone, people tell me that they cannot even tell that I am riding, virtually no background/wind noise. I would like that kind of performance on my next pair of earbuds, especially at these premium prices.
@@hlj013 I drive a truck for a living. Which is too loud for crappy earbud microphones to work well. Before I was a delivery driver and could get by with cheap earbuds. I found a brand(Blitzwolf) I liked and went thru several of theirs. But now I drive full time, no delivery. So I broke down and bought a cheap headset with a microphone for $45. It works great! But gets uncomfortable after a bit. So I think after hearing how good the new AirPods are I’ll get a set of them next. Thanks for your info.
That’s my concern I think there is nothing like apple to answer phone calls over all if isn’t apple won’t work same as the other brands for what u need
Bought both. Returned Apple today. They are decent but ANC randomly kept turning off. The bose while not quite as convenient have been just great.ANC is killer.
I like both Bose and AirPods. I have the original AirPods Pro, but they won't stay in my ears, so the Bose is my go to earbuds for workouts. I've ordered both so we'll see. I suspect the Bose will stay in ear better with the different approach to fitment in the ear.
I had the same problem with my airpods pro falling off so I got ear hooks on Amazon and it's so much better now. Still I think I'll get the Bose for better sound and fit.
@@laxjs I got the Comply foam. They’re okay, but they deteriorate fairly quickly. I switched to a fresh pair a couple months ago and they feel very soft and squishy already versus more firm and secure the first time. I just ordered the ear hooks, hopefully that’s better. But to each his own.
Bose is the best! I have recently requested Bose for replacement, within a guarantee, it was incredibly easy, for free and so fast! Thank you so much!!!
I just received today the new AirPods Pro 2. I’m blown away. I think they’re amazing. In comparison I have the previous model of the Bose quiet comfort. Also very good.
If the sound if the pros are good enough? I used have QC1 s now im having airpods pro gen 1 but i fear im gonna miss the bass in gen 2 and thats why im thinking on QC2
The Bose sounded terrible on the phone call. I noticed that on another review video too. That's a deal breaker for me. I use my AirPod Pro 1's for calls and Zoom meetings all the time and they sound excellent. It's so annoying having conversations with people using bad microphones or speakerphones.
@@mattcalifornia7318you're colleagues won't like you because the Pro 1 does have one of the worst mics from all earbuds. My colleagues and I also have the Pro 1 and they sound muffled for the other part. Even in quiet conditions they sound harsh. My boss did a zoom presentation and got 4 chat messages that his call quality was really intolerable. In a blind test I was using 3 Earbuds while cycling and my boss (apple "fanboy") voted the Airpods Pro 1 to third place.
@@tilow.672 That's not been my experience at all. I've been using Pro 1s for years, and when I ask, people tell me the mics on the Pro1s sound great. Also, my wife and some colleagues use the Pro 1s and they do not sound muffled to me at all when I talk to them. I got the 2s last week. I'll solicit feedback on the mics.
The BOSE look so much better. The black is so cool. But I'm in the Apple eco system and I really value being able to connect across my devices seamlessly when wearing my AirPods. Come on Apple - just make the AirPods in black!
I had both AirPods Pro 1 and Bose QC 1 and soon just purchased AirPods Pro 2 and within a few days will have Bose QC 2. For me while at work related functions I enjoy using the Airpods because the ability to read my latest text and reply to that text hands free is very convenient and you don’t give up much in sound quality. If I’m relaxing at home and want to just listen to music I always grab the Bose QC since for me personally they just make the music sound so good as if music is being played in front of you. Also when out in public I do prefer the Bose noise cancelling over AirPods since it drowns out all of the sound around you. Appreciate the video , but I’ll continue to use both of them and at least now the Bose want take up as much room in pocket carrying around.
May I ask how long does the battery of AirPods Pro 1 and Bose QC 1 last after 2 years heavily using. My airpods 1 died after 2years, and AirPods Pro 1 decreased apparently after 2 years.
I had the first version of both of these. I finally went with the Bose because the Airbuds kept falling out of my ear and one time almost got chewed up by my garbage disposal. After that, the other details didn’t really matter.
I used both for a week and I can tell you if you are looking for a good earpods go for the QC2, if you want a good case go for the AP2 PRO You may be surprised because you will hear a difference in the quality of the microphone, but believe me if you hear from the AP2 Pro you will hear it from the QC2 too , and if you do not hear from the QC2 you will not be hear from the AP2 Pro In the end, AP2 Pro it's very good in the eirpods and the case and the price, but in noise cancellation? It doesn't compare to the QC2, and I honestly care about noise cancellation performance and I don't care about the rest of the differences, if you are like me, looking for the best noise cancellation and u don't care about price go for QC2
I have big ears and the AirPods in all their variations never stays put. I've bought the Bose ones and the fact that they're a better fit and love the base and ANC, there is just no comparison - Bose comes out tops. I have an iPhone, iPad, iMac and Macbook and love Apple but it's Bose for earphones and headphones.
after a month of having airpod pros 2, i dont feel the noise cancellation anymore. it sucks because i thought it would be better, i mean the noise cancelling isnt as strong as they used to be after 1 month of using it.
Great video, Thanks! I have the OG for both of these but won’t be getting the Bose, at least until they improve the firmware. You still can’t use one bud at a time on the new Bose which just doesn’t fly in 2022. On the other hand, the new AirPods are good to go.
I think AirPods provided a much clearer microphone while not transmitting the traffic. Bose sounded a bit muffled and you could hear the traffic in the background.
AirPods mic definitely sounded better, but since I’m not an Apple guy, I went with Bose, I mostly use my ANC for flights anyway so that was more of a priority. The QCII were the first buds that actually stayed in my ear. I’ve tried Samsung Buds, Pixel Buds (A & Pro), Jabra, none stayed in my ear! Although the right is looser than the left, it stays secure. I can finally walk around, talk and eat without having to worry about constantly adjusting my ear buds…what a freaking relief…
Now does phone call quality vary on apple devices vs Android devices for the Air pods? I have an S21 Ultra, my original air pod pros, the call quality was horrible, everyone can hear everything in the back ground compared to my galaxy buds.
@@the5thYearSeniors No, the people who I'm on the phone with can hear everything in my background. Especially at work. Even now with the Airpod pro 2. Airpods phone call quality is ass in comparison to my galaxy buds, but the ANC on the airpods? Incredible 🔥 they're my main wireless headphones. I just wish they had better call quality. Haven't tried the galaxy pro 3 yet.
The mic definitely sounded better on the Airpods, but I mainly get these for traveling on flights, so ANC for that is #1 for me, I'd probably go with Bose then, (I have an older Quiet Comfort with dog collar, still use them and they are great!). Love the comparison videos! Keep it up! 💯
@@emanuelcarmona9930 I don't think you'd go wrong with either, I've had great experience with Bose though and if I have to get them again, I wouldn't complain (although I just bought some pixel bud pros which handled my last flight pretty good).
@@emanuelcarmona9930 the ANC isn’t as good as the Bose I have, however it’s still pretty good. I like that they are more compact and that they have Google assistant built in. The sound quality is fine for videos and music but not mind blowing. I did have some BT lag when gaming on my laptop but videos were playing fine so that confused me 🤷♂️. I didn’t really get them for gaming anyway. I’m still concerned about the fit, I’ve tried a few tips but to me they just don’t feel secure enough, however they have not fallen out. The annoying thing is they don’t have a standalone app really; the app is built into your android BT settings menu, so it’s an extra step to get to it to turn off ANC…etc. they need to make that more accessible. I haven’t had any other true wireless buds to compare to, but I like them so far, I’d say they’re pretty solid all around, the Google assistant is the main reason I’m sticking with them.
I have been using qc30 for 7 years, there is no doubt that the anc of qc2 is better, specifically in that it can completely eliminate the noise of the fan. But for me the qc2 is not as comfortable as the qc30, especially when sleeping. I tried to use AirPodspro2 last week, although the anc is normal but too small, it is not only easy to carry but also has wireless charging, the qc2 is still not perfect, but I waited too long for the bose.
I own both. Airpod2 and Bose QC2 and 1. The Bose QCII wins in every category. Honestly best purchase all year. If you love full body, rich, bold, detailed sound you will love the QCII. If you are really not into music much Apple is good. So, here ( or hear! ) is a honest review on the QCII Sound 10, build quality 10, Looks 10 ( doesn't look like smurf hairdryers ), battery 10, case 10 ( size is perfect, charges for 24 hours use so no need for wireless IMHO ), Comfort 10, ANC 10 ( they invented ANC!! ), APP and UI 10 ( even switch seamlessly to iMac to iPhone) Bottom line it's like comparing Apples to Bose.. for audio, you just can't.
I’m looking for comparison on very loud windy cycling ride. I didn’t get the clear picture which one was best suited for loud windy rides. I got AirPods Pro 2 but not happy with it in windy conditions. Would you say Bose works better in windy??
I have been researching for ever to try and understand the answer to one question …….. Which ones are going to mute the sound of my own tools working as I speak through the EarPods The original AirPod pros are great with sound cancellation but I can’t talk to anyone through them because any noise that is made seems to be enhanced greatly through those earbuds
Great review been waiting for comparisons. Although I am in the apple eco system, I can never get the AirPods to stay in my ears. I also get ear fatigue after about 20 mins with the AirPods.
Yeah I also used to get ear fatigue but it went away completely after 2 weeks. This has been the experience for a lot of people. Also I highly recommend getting a set of comply foam ear tips if your AirPods don't stay in your ear
These 2nd gens will fit you , I had to use normal airpod 2nd gens because the 3rd gens and the original pro’s would not stay in my ears , just tried these new pro 2’s at the airport and they fit my ears great with the tips that came on them , I haven’t even tried the xs tips yet , I would definitely try them because I’m shocked how different they fit my ears compared to the first gens
Which bud works as a primary. As we have seen the previous Bose war bud the right one was the primary to connect. So is there a same scenario with Bose qc2 as well. Kindly let me know. Thank you
Which would have a better anc in the gym? I already have buds live for normal use, I’m looking for one for the gym. Which one would you really recommend?
I have an iphone 13 pro and a windows lenovo laptop. I need the earbuds for business calls as well as listening to music. ANC is also important to me. Which ones you recommend?(maybe none of them?)
As someone who got deep into the Apple ecosystem last year, the Air Pods Pro 2 are a no-brainer. For anyone who often and quickly switches between different devices, there sadly is no better option.
I’m about to return my AirPod Pros 2. They just aren’t as comfortable as my beats fit pro. I wish they were but for 250 I can’t justify keeping them if they aren’t comfortable.
@@mikepotapa5773 the beats fit pro don’t destroy and stretch out your inner ear? I do love them but I swear they’re giving my low key cauliflower ear Espec when I lay down wearing them

Great video! You made a comment about the Sennheisers and I wanted to know if you think they’re better than the APP2 & QC II’s? Please let me know… thanks again!
I just got the new Bose QC II and it was very impressive as far as sound and noise canceling. My complaint is if I only wear the left ear piece it keeps stopping only to find out that you use independently. Is the airpod the same?
great video . I like to use them while I'm commuting to work using trains and underground in London. I currently have the original Bose QC and do like them and also have the Beats Fit Pro for when I'm running. Is it worth upgrading the Bose ?
How about the looks of both of them. Bose, hands down, has taken that category. air pods just look like they were an after though of a rushed design. I do like the feature of finding the case, or the ear buds themselves and hope Bose jumps on that soon as well. For me, it is Bose all the way. With Bose, you are not stuck in a eco system that doesn't work with 3rd party devices.
I own both APP2 and QC2 . My APP2 have the better ANC (this one really surprised me since Bose is the king when it comes to ANC), transparency mode, call quality, and they’re less bulky. Both give me around the same battery life. AirPods Pro 2 are the clear winner for me.
Just bought the Bose QC 2. All reviews indicate talking on the phone is nice but when I use it, my callers complain. Is there a setting I accidentally triggered? It seems pointing the dongle in different ways affects the sound quality too
Did apple change the sound it makes in your ear when you connect to the air pods? I prefer the Bose connection tone having owned both 1st generation APP and QC. I remember the apple ones would make a terribly loud sound in your ear letting you know it connected to bluetooth.
I have tested the Bose and Airpod 2's extensively as the product is important for me. I purchased both and have been switching between the two in noisy streets, cafes and in different situations. After all my testing, the ACN is equally good for the Bose, but the Airpod 2's are more convenient overall and more pleasant to wear for extended periods of time. Find My has been really useful already. So the Bose are a close second, but I returned them to stay with the AirPods 2s as the better product.
If Apple wished, it could give more bass on airpods pro 2 than bose or sony or whatever but we have to remember that Apple has another segment-Beats- which mainly prioritises on bass, whereas Airpods Pro focuses on overall sound balance.
I have the apple airpods 2 for a few years, have always loved the Bose products! End up ordering the qc2’s and am afraid to open the packaging in case I just wasted my money! Help 😅
In 2020, I bought the Jabra 75T, based partly on your test. And you did mention the hiss on the left ear bud. My tinnitus got so much worse after using them, that I gave them to a family member. Great sound quality though. Thanks for the test. Will look into both these 2 models, as well as the Jabra 85T.... I am a little confused by Jabra's new model numbers... Are they below the 85Ts, because they're cheaper...
Bose replaced my QC Earbuds 1 for the QC Earbuds 2 cause a had a issue with the charging Case on my 1 year old Earbuds. They take back my first Gen without any discussion and send me a Set of QC2 to Germany where i live. I'm very satisfied with the QC2. The ANC improved aswell as the Sound. So i have to give Bose props for Service and improvement on the next Gen Product.
I have an iPhone and I went for the Pro Gen 2s , I tried out the Bose QcIIs as well , but Apple just does it better with compatibilty with its devices , I can go for a run with my apple watch and play music leaving my phone at home , I can switch connection easily from My Mac to iPhone if I get any call (I know Multidevice support is common in Premium Headphones even some budget ones now) But if you have an iPhone you need to get the AirPods for sure.
On the first Gen. of Bose QC Earbuds, there is a button in the inside. This button allows you to switch between the paired source-Devices. It works pretty well. Is the button on the back of the snd. Gen. capable of this too?
The Apple AirPods Pro 2 won’t stay in my ear and I’ve tried all the wingtips I was going to switch to the qc 2 but it sounds like u said they don’t stay in your ear either?
Thanks for a thorough and helpful review. As a regular user of ear buds for phone calls more than anything else, plus listening to Audible books, my research elsewhere and your review suggest the Apple product is the better one. Your phone call showed the Apple earbuds sounded much better than the Bose ones which noticeably let in the sound of the traffic behind. And keeping to the Apple ecosystem is better.
I firstly had the same thoughts about mic quality but the more I hear the mic test even with closed eyes I no longer know which sounds more pleasant in long term calls. I imagine the Airpod voice sounds harsh (loud ok but harsh)
Both seemed like there was a delayed bleed through that's sounds somewhat distorted in both recordings. Not sure if this is a recording artifact or a real representation. Regarding mic tests

The last straw was the right earbud suddenly stopped working after a month. I went out and got the AirPods Pro 2, immediately the functionality was much, much better.

Ive gotta say. The ANC in Apples part is very sufficient. If you start audio playback, there probably wont be anything left to hear. Except you only listen at 5-10% volume.
Thanks for your comments! I’m sending my new Bosebuds back as well.
In the gym nothing is better.
man how much side money you have to buy all of these earbuds
Great review and happy to have subbed. I recently got my QC2 and it feels much better than the previous model. As an airline pilot, i usually do walkarounds with a very loud surrounding. ANC worked extremely well and what surprised me is that while talking to my wife during the walkaround, she wasnt listening to the loud machines around me at all. Not to mention the new light weight design which made it less heavy on my ears. All in all i highly recommended it
This the review I needed. Also airline pilot haha.
nice review capt. aircraft engineer here😅🤘🏼
hello, which ones cancel noise best while in a room with outside dog barking? thanks
Same lol
i am trying to get one for dh
I’ve got this exact issue with my right airpod pro, rattling noises which is massively amplified with the anc on
Apple shit is for kids
I just received my QC II’s, phenomenal! Noise cancellation is great, fit is great and so comfortable in my ears! Love them!
Here's my breakdown (again... so far):
Best ANC: Bose (the APP 2's are close, but Bose shuts EVERYTHING out)
Best Sonic Footprint: They're split evenly right now. I like the bass on the Bose, but the APP 2's are clean/clear.
Best Fit: Different for everyone, but for me... Bose (I don't have to fuck with them; they just... fit)
Best Look: Subjective, but I think the Bose look pretty damn cool (and the APP 2's still look silly)
Best Charging/Case: APP 2's (smaller case; wireless charging is a plus, though I can live without it)
Best Multipoint Connectivity: APP 2's (assuming you're an Apple user; it's all manual with Bose)
Best Touch Controls: Bose (I also like that I can create a "Music" mode where it's set halfway between ANC & transparent)
Best App: Bose is the only one with an app... but you do need to open the app (whereas APP 2 assistance is baked in if you have an iPhone)
Best Price Point: Well... the APP 2's are cheaper
I should point out that the Bose are a bit harder to get out of the case.
Oh...
Very helpful, thanks!!
Thx man. Would you say that the bose is better for like workouts?
@@juliuscalisthenics1168 I'd say it depends most on fit (whichever ones stay in best), but... the QC's are sweat and water resistant. I don't think the APP 2's are, though (but I'm sure they're perfectly fine for a workout). Unless you're drenched in sweat, you'll be fine.
@@bensahomie9666 No problem. Happy to help.
@@juliuscalisthenics1168 both are IPX4 rated water and sweat resistant, so there no difference from that standpoint
Thanks bro. I want to know new AirPods Pro 2 delay while making music by logic pro or play some rhythm game
The best buds are the ones that you can wear comfortably and they stay in your ears.
After a VERY long search I can say those are the Bose Earbuds for me because the the earwings.
I’m using the new AirPods right now in transparency mode. It’s fantastic
@@thundergus I don’t notice it that much, tbh. It is great earbuds and I jusy love the bass and the new design!!
Do you need to switch between devices in the settings or is it seamless like in Qc 35 ?

@@thundergusthe white noise is how they achieved the ANC. It’s always there but it’s very quiet. You can’t hear it with music on. So if it would bother you, don’t get it. Let’s say if you wanna use them for sleep.

Wow, the mic sounded so much better on the AirPods. The Bose weren't as clear, and there was an odd echo. Thanks for this review.
I think you need to watch and listen to the vids again? Lol the AirPod pro 2 you can heard it slightly louder but echoing. Bose is less echoing and more clear
@@billybrown5941 To be very honest, the AirPods Pro 2 was much clearer
Agreed-the AirPods sounded a lot more natural. The Bose sounded like he was in an underground parking garage.
@@billybrown5941 if ur biased just say that lmao

The Apple AirPod Pro 2 were superior for phone calls, a very important feature for me. Thanks for a great, balanced, review.
Yep. I got the Bose and it’s pretty lousy for phone calls. The incoming is crystal clear but the outgoing is actually bad.

The microphone quality on the AirPod Pro 2s are insanely good!
The call quality was far better on the air pods than the bose. I heard an echo with the bose.
It depends on the device you pair with. Of course, the airpods works well with iphone. I found the Bose works better with non-apple products.
Silicone case?
I agree! The only reason I'm still on the fence about this is the looks and I'm a huge bass guy so I really don't know.
Exactly. I hate the white
Gonna purchase bose qc earbuds 2. Thx for your review with such details.
Same- have both of the 1st gen and I was hoping to replace both w one of the new ones, but it seems like I’ll be buying both again 😅
May I ask how long does the battery of AirPods Pro 1 and Bose QC 1 last after 2 years heavily using. My airpods 1 died after 2years, and AirPods Pro 1 decreased apparently after 2 years.
@@haojia4528 after about 1.5 years I haven’t noticed any difference in battery life tbh.
I had the first version of both of these. I finally went with the Bose because the Airbuds kept falling out of my ear and one time almost got chewed up by my garbage disposal. After that, the other details didn’t really matter.
I used both for a week and I can tell you if you are looking for a good earpods go for the QC2, if you want a good case go for the
AP2 PRO
You may be surprised because you will hear a difference in the quality of the microphone, but believe me if you hear from the AP2 Pro you will hear it from the QC2 too , and if you do not hear from the QC2 you will not be hear from the AP2 Pro
In the end, AP2 Pro it's very good in the eirpods and the case and the price, but in noise cancellation? It doesn't compare to the QC2, and I honestly care about noise cancellation performance and I don't care about the rest of the differences, if you are like me, looking for the best noise cancellation and u don't care about price go for QC2
I have big ears and the AirPods in all their variations never stays put. I've bought the Bose ones and the fact that they're a better fit and love the base and ANC, there is just no comparison - Bose comes out tops. Apple killed it on the phone call that right there sold it for me.

after a month of having airpod pros 2, i dont feel the noise cancellation anymore. it sucks because i thought it would be better, i mean the noise cancelling isnt as strong as they used to be after 1 month of using it.

Any insight on which one will finally work well with Microsoft Team calls?? Particularly on a PC vs Mac?

Now does phone call quality vary on apple devices vs Android devices for the Air pods? I have an S21 Ultra, my original air pod pros, the call quality was horrible, everyone can hear everything in the back ground compared to my galaxy buds.
I have the same phone and buds. What are you talking about? I hear nothing with ANC
For the original AirPods I noticed that even plating quite music or white noise helps a ton with ANC, more than other ANC headphones I have used.
I have been a very long time of Bose product user. So, I'm not planning to change that! :)
Great review you have made comparing these two products.
I’m your opinion do u like the silicon tips on the pros or no tips on the other AirPods?
The mic definitely sounded better on the Airpods, but I mainly get these for traveling on flights, so ANC for that is #1 for me, I'd probably go with Bose then, (I have an older Quiet Comfort with dog collar, still use them and they are great!). Love the comparison videos! Keep it up! 💯

If I had one in each ear, which one is gonna punch harder? Thats all I wanna know. I’ve tried the QC2, but not the airpods pro 2.
1:30 definitely not, in terms of ANC the OG AirPods Pro were outclassed by many other earbuds that also cost-effective less....
Love your videos and please do a Momentum True Wireless 3 vs Airpods Pro 2 comparison!
Yes I want that too
12:29 No such worries for me with AirPods Pro 2, but it slips easily on the original.

Apple likes to keep it simple
Though. Bose to me is bulky and a little much. Not saying they are nice but I like the simple look of the AirPods.
The new 2nd gen has slightly better base than the studio buds
the original qc earbuds was far more accurate than the airpod pros...
@@JustFixItAlready how about beats fit pro since those are the higher end option to the studio buds
Jabra 7 elite plus
Mike u gave such breif info and I am happy that now I M clear and I know which one to choose thanx mate
Had me on the mic quality... Thanks!
6:35 Apple wins. Both won't be as good if you were testing in a packed cafe or bar, but at least it blocked more noise.
On the first Gen. of Bose QC Earbuds, there is a button in the inside. This button allows you to switch between the paired source-Devices. It works pretty well.
Is the button on the back of the snd. Gen. capable of this too?
Unfortunately no.
Thanks for the video Mike. I was wondering what earbuds have louder sound the Bose qc2 or Sennheiser Tw3 ???
The Apple AirPods Pro 2 won’t stay in my ear and I’ve tried all the wingtips I was going to switch to the qc 2 but it sounds like u said they don’t stay in your ear either?
Appreciate the attention to detail Mike thanks!
Which would do the best job blocking snoring? My AirPods Pro gen 1 don’t do a great job.
Both seemed like there was a delayed bleed through that's sounds somewhat distorted in both recordings. Not sure if this is a recording artifact or a real representation. Regarding mic tests
Hey Mike. Which ones cancel noise best while in a room with outside dog barking?
I've watched dozens of videos . For me call quality at busy areas is most important ( I'm android user ) what's the best for me . some say liberté 4 nothing 2 or bose quietcomfort 2 . Pls an answer special for me .1 I travel by car none hears me if window a little open 2 i go to factories and show exebitions . I need to decide in 48 hrs . If bose are really better for me 300$ isn't an issue .
My Pro 2 coming today. Did not like the first Bose or the AirPods Pro for that matter.
Lots of improvements in their second gen!
I am a big Bose fan, however I bought the qcII earbuds and had nothing but frustration with their functionality, intermittent bluetooth drops was really annoying. The anc is great, sound was great. The last straw was the right earbud suddenly stopped working after a month. I went out and got the AirPods Pro 2, immediately the functionality was much, much better.
Can you please compare both generation AirPods Pro
perfectly presented review! very straight to the point about ANC!!
The AirPods Pro are a no brainer for me as I’m already in the Apple eco system and love my gen 1 AirPods Pro. The lower price is icing on the cake.
in my country they are exactly the same price. not sure which one to pick
Quick question: I just wonder if the BOSE QUIETCOMFORT BUDS 2 has sound delay while watch youtube, netflix and disney+ on iphone. I used to have Bose SoundSport Free but it was horrible due to sound delay while playing netflix
thanks ~
No delay
