  • Malnutrition in Ethiopia is prevalent among children, adolescents and women of breastfeeding or reproductive age. Nutrition problems differ between urban and rural areas, but are more pronounced in the latter. Due to the war in Tigray it has been difficult to conduct FoodLAND fieldwork on nutrition and diet quality, so data is now being collected. ‘Angara’ is the most dominant food in Ethiopia and “theft” the main crop used for it. The research team would like to mix theft with moringa leaf flour and combine this to improve nutritional problems.
