FoodLAND progress in Kenya

  • In Kenya, FoodLAND promotes local sustainability through three Food Hubs: Mukurweini, Kisumu and Kitui. We are involved in the composition of novel, local and nutritious foods, namely processed from tree tomatoes, kinoa and fish products. The aim is to improve malnutrition and obesity among the local people. The development of packaging materials for the products is also underway. Wambui Kogi-Makau and Evans Chimoita explain the work done in Kenya.
