A Jaeger-LeCoultre Exclusive - Tour Of The Luxury Watchmaker, Grand Complications & GyroTourbillon

- Today we kick off a series recently filmed during my 2017 Switzerland tour. In this first episode I visit one of my favourite Swiss luxury watch makers, and share the journey from raw materials to finished timepiece with a brand renowned for their in-house manufacturing. Jaeger-LeCoultre is like no other brand, with a long history of innovation and a plethora of iconic timepieces that proudly bear their name. In this exclusive, behind the scenes video, we take a look at some astounding ATMOS clocks, highlights from their museum, and awe inspiring watches featuring many of their grand complications. From the famous Reverso, to a duo-metre chronograph, a perpetual calendar with a Tourbillon, and of course, their insanely cool GyroTourbillons, Jaeger-LeCoultre is truly a legendary brand.

I believe you have achieved a new level of excellence. The factory tour is fascinating. I love that they still make honey! Thank you for taking us along.
An absolute pleasure Chad, thank you so much for the kind words.
Best regards,
TGV
must be nice to be rich and white
Brilliant video, a real pleasure to watch. This is the type of content rarely seen on UA-cam, and I cannot express how grateful I am for the opportunity to have a exclusive peek into JLC's factory. Congrats TGV!
Absolutely amazing to see the insides of such an amazing establishment.
Mate you look like a kid in a sweet shop smiling ear to ear.
Easy to see you really enjoyed it.
An oldie, but a goodie! Great vid - that must have been a fantastic experience. Dude, those were treasures of horology! La Grande Maison, indeed.
The JLC Factory tour is...sublime. Those masterpieces [can’t just call them watches ~ sacrilege!!!] expose & Detail THE #1 Human ‘Gift’...Imagination. I could/WILL Watch (Pun?/!) this Video for many hours. You’ve ‘NAILED IT’ w/ your Swiss JLC Factory coverage - I know it took my breath away... Kudos!!
The fastest i have ever clinked onto a You Tube video, fantastic looking movements and craftsmanship, great video TGV i hope you shot a load of footage while in Switzerland, could have watched that one for two hours, as always you videos seem too short.
The nerve of UA-cam to show me a Vincero ad before this work of art showing a plethora of works of art...
AdBlock, problem solved
Stunning watches and nicely done TGV.
Truly brilliant! I am blown away how you edited this. Bravo!
Thank you for your art work on our behalf, Sophie.
People have said it a million times but your intros are wonderful.
This is one of your best videos of all time, TGV. Thoroughly enjoyed this. So glad to see you really moving onwards and upwards!
Omg ... these watches are breathtaking ... thanks so much for sharing this experience!
One of my favorite brands, it must have been such an honor to be able to visit them, I hope one day I will be able to do the same
It’s just marvelous ! I couldn’t choose appropriate words to appreciate such a care for their history and respect for the “Art of Watchmaking”. Also thank you for being such a gentleman and posting your own personal experience on UA-cam. I’m a big fan and a watch enthusiast, starting my collection with the Seiko Alpinist. You inspired me a lot in making this decision. Hope u continue to amaze us with ur great videos, I must say they’re a gift for Watch collectors.
One of the best episodes of the entire show. Amazing stuff TGV, thanks for bring this to us, a pleasure to watch.
One of my favorite videos ever made! Thank you TGV!
This vid brings this channel on a whole new level over the rest of the pack. Thank you for letting us tag along with you, TGV!
Thanks for bringing us along for the tour! Awesome!
Thanks for walking us through the Jaeger LeCoultre manufacture and new museum
It was a joy to watch the tour of their factory & museum. Such beautiful watches as well.
Thank you for exposing those of us that will never be able to own these fantastic watches to such wonderful pieces of mechanical art.We do not have to own art to appreciate it,I will never own a ferrari,or a Van Gogh; but that does not make them any less wonderfull to behold,or lesson the joy their very existence brings.
Loved watching this segment! What a fantastic experience; thank you for sharing it with us!
Just bought my first lux watch, and its a JLC master control date with sector dial. Couldn't be happier with it :-) You should do a review!
After watching this video, I am now %100 confident I’m a watch nerd. This was amazing!! Thank you very much TGV. And if you even need a second person next time you go.....here I am!! Lol
that was a very special day for ME. thanks for that mate - this is absolutely amazing!
Thank you Dmitry, deeply appreciated and always a pleasure.
Best regards,
TGV
I thoroughly enjoyed this magical and educational tour. Very excited to see what you have in store for the rest of your Switzerland tour series!
In a word: breathtaking. Thanks for taking us along!
The best JLC factory tour I've seen so far
My Jaeger le coultre was my father's. It has been maintained regularly & is now sixty years old.
It is as fine a piece as the day it was ready. It's a simple elegant design; self winding in a rose gold case. I treasure it & a new one is beyond my finances.
It was an absolute joy to go through this video! Thanks, TGV, for bring us this opportunity to learn more about JLC, especially bring us up close to those stunning tourbillons!
Absolutely beautiful timepieces. The craftsmanship that goes into building these is quite mind boggling. The Tourbillion is unreal. Awesome learning video. Thanks for sharing your experience!
You Sir are a legend, I’m not a watch mastermind but your stage by stage tour was epic and the gyroscopes blew my mind!!! Well done, epic !!! 😎
Thank you! This was a treat to watch. Can't wait for the next video's!
Wow, I would just be giddy walking through there.
I can definitely understand how it’d feel to see all that and just have a huge smile on my face
Thanks for sharing TGV 👍🏻
Fascinating video. Look forward to seeing more of these!
Great tour, continue to look forward more of those Tour episode ....Thumbs up!
Really happy for you mate- been watching since 34000, every time I watch a video you have more subscribers! Glad to see that even the big brands have the vision to see the importance of your channel. Keep up the good work
Opening music: Bedřich Smetana - Má Vlast (Vltava/Die Moldau). I'm born in Prague and that music is very dear to me, always reminds me of home. Thank you for using it in your video :) And thank you for the video itself, really great to watch.
Best video you’ve ever done. I’d pay them to work in their polishing department! I’ve had on my shortlist of next watch purchase in a year or two the JLC Master Ultra Thin Moon in steel with silver dial. After seeing this, it’s now top of the list.
Hard to put into words what this videos captures. The attention to detail and real world 21st century craftsmanship is jaw dropping. The fact that this happens in this day and age of instant gratification and right now manufacturing truly does my heart good. The Rotating Tourbillions are nothing short of staggering. I knew they existed, but never gave them any attention due to the price and rarity, but I think I did myself a bit of an injustice. Knowing the effort that goes into these 2 year to produce products just makes me appreciate my little SARB and my Omega that much more. Very well made video, that had a sense of culture and mystique about it. Must have been a mecca of sorts for you Tristiano. Thanks for bringing us along.
This is some quality stuff right there.
Isse Al O Sorry, grammar nazi here, if you say "this" the proper word would be "here", not "there". You would say "there" if you said earlier, "that"
For example:
That is some quality stuff right there.
This is some quality stuff right here.
Sorry, I know, annoying grammar police. Heck, it could have just been a typo and I am making this comment for nothing.
A marvellous and rare opportunity to view the J-LeC factory! Many thanks.
Amazing! 😲 That repeater was just gorgeous, they all where. Cheers for the vid Tristano 👍
Excellent work TGV... Thanks for sharing this video. Much needed publicity for my favorite brand
What a great video! Can't even imagine such a amazing experience. Onwards and upwards TGV!

Probably your best video to date ..! Thanks
TGV the way you described the beauty of JLC, you just inspired me to work harder and own a JLC myself! Lots of love from India!
What a stunning facility! This was fantastic to watch and must have been so memorable to visit!
Absolutely incredible, thank you for sharing. Truly astounding the level of craftsmanship that they are capable of. The intricacy, functionality, and beauty of their work really is mind blowing.
Incredible TGV, you have taken us there!
TGV, Thank You so much for producing this video tour. Last night at dinner I decided to play it on our big screen while watching dinner and my wife and daughter were fascinated. It is seldom we can find anything to watch at dinner that we all like especially with the doom and gloom of the news and these tour programs are just the ticket. We will continue to watch them at dinner until there are no more to watch and will watch the next tour tonight! Also a huge shout out to the production quality, music and editing of these programs, they especially look and sound good on our 4k TV and soundbar with subwoofer, very professional. We look forward to seeing more and Thanks again. Joe / Northern Calfornia

My favourite Jaeger-LeCoultre is the Master Control Date. I am attracted to this watch for its looks and its simplicity. A lovely wristwatch. Very soon, now. All that JLC creates speaks of beauty and ..... Time.

Thank you for this interesting insight. I really love good craftsmanship.
Awesome video! Watching that tourbillons, the following scene came into my mind from movie "Connections": Some celestial event. No - no words. No words to describe it. Poetry! They should've sent a poet. So beautiful. So beautiful... I had no idea."
An absolute treat ! You are one lucky soul !
