It amazes me that a small glass ball has a value lol. And that they have names, I had a big box full of marbles when I was a kid, used to race a handful of them across the kitchen floor, never occurred to me they had a value or name.

As I mention in the vid, I am a novice with marbles. There is much to learn and the subject runs deep. .. Couple clarifications : There appears to be one handmade shooter - The irridescent one(not vintage), and others are machine made and older. I purposely didnt give an age to any of them, cuz I am no expert (yet, LOl) . And When I use the term Agate, this is the name of the marble. As in AKRO AGATE which I pointed to. Sorry I didnt mention that. There are also marbles made from stone agate. So 2 different terms and meanings. Sorry if there was any confusion. There are also clay marbles . I unfortunately didnt have time to mention all these details. The video would be too long. Lol.

the marble with the worm looking thing inside more than likely made in Germany. And as well the speckle ones. Highly sought out for with high value. Dont use anything on the one you thought someone painted. They painted agate marbles , and the older marbles dont have a high shine to them. No bubbles as well inside. Sulphide reproductions were made in 60's in Italy during 1960s. Pontil marks testify they were hand made not be considered blemishes

The speckled ones or confetti are not made in Germany. They are actually made in Mexico. The company name is Vacor. Unfortunately they are not a valuable marble, about a dollar. The shooters (about one inch)are not always more valuable either, sorry. It depends on the maker and what type of marble it is. There are a couple nice marbles but only a couple. The cats eyes are just not worth more than a dime maybe a quarter at most for a really nice one. That being said there are some cats eyes than can bring some good money but it really takes an expert to tell you which ones they are. The big one you have is more of a boulder maybe a toe breaker. They have a different name for each size. It's easy to look up. The two at the end I'm sorry to tell you but they don't have the value your hoping for, the smaller of the two also looks like a Vacor named Michael Angelo. It is beautiful marble but still only worth a couple bucks. The big one is also not worth more than a couple bucks. It's not a popular vintage marble. The ones bigger than an inch were probably not used to play marbles by the kids. They are just to big to shoot with. Now I'm no expert. I've only been collecting and studying them for about four years now and I make plenty of mistakes. However I think I'm pretty close with my assessment here. I'm sorry and hope I haven't delivered a ton of bad news. Unfortunately you can't quit the day job. Best wishes and good luck.

Terribly wrong information. None of the marbles are German. Not one. That worm marble is a cheap Mexican Vacor flame. The speckled ones are either Vacor de Mexico or Asian, not German. They are worthless marbles. NONE of these are "highly sought out for with high value." The "pontil mark" is not a pontil mark, but just a simple "cold roll" where the marble didn't form fully before it cooled. The most expensive marble in the entire video is maybe $1 to $5. Come on.

There was no marble expertise in this video. Let me explain: First, not a single one of these is handmade. Not one. The markings are called "cold rolls" and just mean the marble cooled before it fully formed. None of the marbles are from Germany or Murano Italy. Not one. Every marble in the 2nd large group - aside from the 1st 5 - are cheap Asian or Mexican with nothing worth more than maybe $1 at best for the large ones. Hundreds? SMH The dark tint cat eyes are just cheap Japanese cats. The "speckled" are garbage marbles from Asia. The iridescent marbles with the little worm things inside are just Mexican Vacor flames worth about 1 to 5 cents. The one with a continuous noodle inside (pinkish) is a Vacor Spaghetti - of no real value. You do have one Alley swirl in the large group (green swirl on white), which belongs in the other group.

The guys asking you for better pictures were not trying to be offensive. In order to be able to tell who the manufacturer is, it takes some really good pics inorder to see the seems and the different folds. The differences can be very subtle. It's also important to really see the colors. Every company used different glass and it makes a big difference in judging who the maker is, value and everything else. Bottom line is the better the picture the easier to identify.
