New subscriber here but Bill, been watching you on TV for about the last four decades. First started watching you on the old TNN network. I guess that classifies us as a couple of old bass fishermen. LOL Over the years I have watched just about every fishing program out there, Bill, but I have always thoroughly enjoyed your programs because it just isn't about watching someone catch fish on TV, its about teaching someone how to catch fish on their own. Many times I have thanked you for a tip that helped me catch a fish. At my age I can also take pride in the fact that I can now take what I have learned and pass it along to the kids out there. A few years back I used to run an annual kids' fishing derby and I was able to pass along what I have learned over the years to those kids. No better feeling than that. Nothing like seeing the look on a kids' face when they catch their first fish. Keep up the good work, Bill, because you do make a difference. Blessings to you and yours.

Bill, I've watched and followed you ever since you did the outdoor show with bobby meador in baton rouge in the late 60's. Fishing is mostly a talent like music and art, and you have that talent, that '' feel '' for lt as much as anybody, if not moreso.

Mr. Bill I have a question, do you use spoons over soft plastic in cold water?

Bill, I'd like to know about the offset seat post I always see you fishing from. I'm thinking about installing one on my boat and have found one made by Attwood in their Swivl-Eze line of seating pedestal systems. They claim it threads into the mounting bracket (sold seperately) and does not swivel, but remains in a fixed position. I've noticed yours swivels. I've got limited standing space forward of my casting seat and would like a little more. Will you please tell us about yours and why you prefer to use them? Thanks!

Bill, I just want to say that you thought me so much when it comes to being an angler, I have a dream of being a professional angler and getting into major league fishing. My knowledge would not be the same if I hadn’t watched you. And would you be able to make a video on how to use a garmin live scope and how to find fish in different times of the year. Thanks bill!

Why am I having a hard time catching bass on windy days. Clear water reservoir in indiana. I’ve used finesse square bills, rattling and silent, small and big. Used big worms and small worms. Bugs and craws. I’m just having a rough time. Looking for advice

Id try to pay attention to why its windy. Cold fronts etc. I pay attention to the wind direction. I try to fish before up coming weather changes. An couple days after. Around southeast, two or three days of same weather pattern, fish will settle in their natural pattern. 3 days of cold weather here. I do cold water tatics. Sometimes fish dont react to weather right away. They just seek shelter, til comfortable with current conditions

3 days of windy weather. Id fish wind blown banks. Where the find is blowing in your face. Around here first day of wind, fish have lockjaw. 2 or 3 days of wind the react accordingly

I fish clear water lakes here in WA and jerkbaits have been pretty effective during windy days. I use braided line with a fluorocarbon leader.

3 inch black and silver damiki armor shad on a 1/4 oz damiki head. Spend the money for real damiki products. They outlast other baits. I like the plain lead head just to be different than every one else. Worked for me today for 30 + plus fish on a crowded Saturday clear water lake in central Florida
