I watched bill as a kid to adult. Good to see I can still watch. I decided walleye fishing over bass fishing was much more to my style though. Keep it up. I wanna see more.
I couldn't wait for the weekends to get up early and watch Bill, Jimmy, Hank and the others. Making me feel a bit old and I'm not.
Heck even a big spinner bait will bend when u catch one, just gotta bend it back to normal! It takes a couple cast maybe to get it back perfect but my most confident bait is a spinnerbait, always has been! U can fish them a million ways and they go thru grass and brush pretty good! Cant beat ‘em!
Love it Bill. Yep, I've caught some good one on that lure. In fact, I prefer the smaller spinners with Colorada blades. Love that boat too.
I build my own “beetle spin” a Colorado blade wire arm and a crappie jig, usually a Lake Fork Baby Shad on a 1/16oz jig head. All of that can be bought in bulk and can combine for a unique lure no one else is throwing. I catch bass, crappie, bluegill, and once even a 5# catfish
I have a few Booyah Pond Magic spinner baits, and they work well enough - but I've been going larger and larger over the last couple years, and now I prefer something hefty like a Jimmy Houston Legend or a KVD. The smaller bass still go for it, and the bigger ones seem to prefer a bigger offering, so I figure bigger is better! Plus, it's easier to cast 😄 I like to throw on a soft plastic paddle tail minnow (4" or so) as a trailer to give it more profile, movement, and vibration. More often than not, I'll nail em right as the bait hits the water!

Shoot I’ve caught more bass on a 3/8 ounce green and white spinnerbait than I have any other lure! I think it’s my most confident bait tho so that might be it! Lol but I always have that thing tied on a pole no matter what! It’s a strike king double willow leaf blade man that thing runs straight and true every cast! I’ve tried a lot of others but that’s the one for me!
I wonder how they talk to these fish when no one is watching?
Just grab the fish already!! Stop doing the figure 8s with the fish.
