Behind the Bricks: Indianapolis-Based IMSA Teams

Did you know that ‪@imsaofficial‬ sports car racing is a bit of a hometown series for Indianapolis? When the series takes to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the TireRack Battle on the Bricks, several will be competing in their home race. On this episode of Behind the Bricks, Doug Boles goes on a tour across Central Indiana to visit a couple of the shops and show fans some local teams they can root for.

Brownsburg has been my hometown growing up, and I remember going to Lucas Oil IRP at age 10 and watching both Arca and the NASCAR truck series racing there.🏎🏁🏳🏴

Can't say how happy I am that IMS has more than Indycar running! It's a year round spectacle for me and my nephew now. BRING BACK F1!!!!

Unfortunately F1 will never come back to Indianapolis for several reasons. (ultimately being there is no money here compared to Miami, Austin, Las Vegas, and Montreal)
We're spoiled for motorsports in Indiana as is, we're not missing much by not having F1.
