You know *Eric has gone influencer mode* when he literally got to *push Richard Petty’s car*
So happy you guys got to come out! Thank you Eric! Great video!
Somehow missed this video, Huge huge fan David and Eric.
This is where David Land loves to go with all of these old school IndyCars!
Indycar is close to NASCAR and F1 at the same time.
I lost brain cells
@@GardenStateDiecast how?
Indycars, at least back in the day, were what you would get if you designed F1 cars to run on an oval. Nowadays they don't really have a comparison. Heavy , big power, no power steering, oval setups and tuning with the weight jacker.
Eric: It feels like being at school after school creepy but cool
Me who has a mom as a teacher: That is normal for me
Next time there's an indycar/nascar weekend, you and David Land should do a crossover video.
Eric & David Land. The duo I didn’t know I needed
One of my all-time favorite cars in IndyCar are old school IndyCar’s! Specifically the Turbine cars😍
I was at the the 100th running of the Indy 500 sat between Turn 4 and pit in Ive loved INDYCAR since then even went to the 1st race in Nashville this year
You should do a video of why Kevin Harvick hasn’t won a race this year, more importantly he has no playoff points to his credit. Are you concerned about him, is Kevin Harvick in trouble?
Started watching old recordings of all Indy 500 races 53 and up. Got hooked. Lots of great vids out there
I got so triggered by Eric when he passed by the Marmon wasp so many times😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
Right? I thought the same thing.
Hey Eric can you my nascar vs monster jam on video please
I loved visiting the museum back in April. The facility is great and staff are very nice
I remember seeing the tweet looking like they stole a Petty car :D
How Come You Couldn’t Show The Basement Just Curious?
they want people to come spend money and see. if it’s on a youtube video there world be no use if you already have seen what’s down there
Only serious VIPs were ever allowed down there until about a year ago when they decided it could be used to make money. And they are trying to gather enough funding to significantly upgrade the museum so there is a reason they want to stockpile some money. So in order to maintain the mystique and significance of getting to go down there, you can't have people posting pictures or talking in detail about everything that's in the Basement.
I really enjoyed video. I wished you would have spent some time at the Marmon Wasp the first winning car. I am a David Land subscriber now I am subscribed to you Eric.
They were standing right there… backs turned to the first Indy winner.
This Aussie has put this place on his bucket list
tickets from Vancouver Island to Indianapolis would put me a few thousand in debt, and im 16
I always thought that Carl Fisher looked like the bad French guy from Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Great video Eric thank you very much , I have always wanted to go there , that whole piece of real estate is hollowed ground like the Vatican , And I agree the trophy is creepy , take care
I've always thought if I hit the lottery I'd buy a car from a lot of different racing series! They are so cool 2 me.
The best nascar UA-cam channel has uploaded today
13:15-13:45 probably my favorite cars you shown. Those were really dope
I started out an Indy fan first i was just a little kid when AJ Foyt won his fourth 500 and remember it well he was the man ,then nascar got ahold of me and we'll nascar for me now
You are one lucky son of a gun going to the ISM museum. All I can say is just wow and keep up the great video content so keep up the great work and cannot wait to watch your vlog from Daytona. Keep up the great work.
Is it just me or dose the tour guide look like Daniel Suarez.
I originally mistook his for a driver at first.
David Land and Eric Estepp crossover we all wanted 😅
There better be one of Bryan clausions cars there rip Bryan !!!!
MARTININDYVILLE (What to see th rest of the comment look inside the reply thing)
To Me THATS A MEME!
I just got 3 ads in a row and cannot be more furious.
watch formula 1 if your getting into other motorsports it so cool
fond memories of those Pennzoil cars 💙
Honestly this looked really fun to go to. If I’m ever in the Indianapolis area, I’m definitely going to this
WHAT WAS IN THE BASEMENT?!?!?!?!??!?!
Seems like every member of the NWP is becoming IndyCar fans now. Guess it's my turn now, huh
hope you enjoyed my backyard. grew up on west side indy. if your ever in town again let me show u some cool spots around the city
I’m sorry
not driver swaps but ride along mechanics. glad you enjoyed IMS its my favorite place in the world
Oh and BTW thanks to Darren for the autograph
Were these replicas, or are they the actual winning cars?
Most are the actual cars. Many run. Replicas are noted as such.
I visited in 2018 during their exhibit on the Unsers. We had to pay extra to get in and didn't get to do a track tour because the SVRA and Trans Am happened to be in town, but getting to see live racing was hardly a disappointment. It felt like I was in the middle of a Gran Turismo trailer when the Lotus turbine car fired up and rolled through Gasoline Alley.
Chris Kneifel was one of the original Corvette Racing drivers. His car won the 24 Hours of Daytona overall the year that the sister car was being driven by the Earnhardts, which was two weeks before Dale Sr. died. Also, the "Dutch Boy" decal on the nose is a hint as to who drove that Domino's car.
Eric estep on Sunday at the brickyard I saw you and I was yelling for you Eric Estepp for you to give me a autograph but I understand you didn't hear me
I love how they all breezed by the 1911 Marmon Wasp.....Only the first car to win the Indy 500. Yeah, nothing to look at, guys...lol
Does the IMS Museum have nascar stuff in it to or just Indycar
Some NASCAR stuff, but considering the heritage, not a whole lot. The Party stocker is probably one of the bigger deal NASCAR rides there.
I saw at least the 1950's era Merc from that basement collection teaser. That tells me everything I need to know about what's actually in that basement and all I can say is, TAKE MY MONEY NOW.... "I like how we just look like a bunch of scrubs who just found a NASCAR" I'm ded lol.
Eric. I was at the 100th Indy 500. Really cool to watch. And the car next to it is the 1st winner of the Indy 500. A huge step up from a airplane cockpit on wheels to a technological marvel giant car.
Herta didn’t own Dan’s 2011 car. Sam Schmidt and Curb-Agajanian did. They leased it to Herta for the 500 since they were partners.
I went yesterday. They didn't have the yellow submarine car that Johnny Rutherford won the 500 with in 1980. I wanted to cry. Not sure if the car is on loan or where it was,
I have been to the IMS museum before. It is outstanding! I sat in that Indy car when it was in the Indianapolis Children's Museum.
Didn’t even really show or talk about the Marmon Wasp, the first car to win the Indy 500
Dominos car is Arie Luyendyk
I'm not gonna lie, I'm kinda disappointed in you 3 that you couldn't tell that it was a Pontiac grill through the cover....as soon as u showed the front close up at @01:11 , theres no other make that it coulda been
The Orange Justice is a dance from FORTNITE
Robby Gordon should have won in 1999 Indy 500.
I live in Indianapolis and I go there once a year and spend three or four hours every time and see something new every time that I missed from the last definitely a must-see
Kinda thought Eric was going to start singing let there be rock lol 🤟🏻
I enjoyed this! I've been to this museum and it was a great mind refresher.
I'll have to get sometime soon since I only live about two hours away
I heard they have Peewee Herman's bicycle in the basement!!
Sweet video
To bad they want 130 bucks to get in the basement
Worth every penny. I've not been down there, yet, but I know people who have...say its a must go.
@@joefair3391 I'm a Nascar guy though it would need to be more than a tony Stewart 20 car to get me to pay that.
I’m so early lol
i work there lol
Yeah you do. Toilets need scrubbed there too
The museum is a awesome place if you can I suggest a visit
So awesome! Thanks Eric!!
I went to the museum too
I was sitting at the left of the Penzoil sign by turn 1
Guide kinda looks like Denny Hamlin
Good ol' David Land.... tour..
the best to visit on Planet Earth "IMS"
Eric looking down on David Land!!!!
We were at the Indy Cup race also. Fun day
That's where I got my Jimmie Johnson diecast indycar from
1:39 things Danny B has said
Shame you didn't take a look at that C4
Ahh the IMS raceway
i saw a Rick Mears car at MIS
First
*pinewood
Looks amazing
I been at the museum twice and the place is awesome
Oh my gosh I want to go!!
Earlier :● :D
Super sick!
That looks fun
Indycar is terrible I can't even watch the 500 for 5 laps without getting bored NASCAR is superior
I was at the track Fri,Sat, and Sunday. Went to the museum Friday and I was really disappointed that they had no nascar history in the museum. They had nascar murch for sale but no nascar history. I believe it's time for nascar to leave indy
