i’ve been playing for about five years now and i remember seeing this video when i first started piano and it truly inspired me due to the love i had for this song.
Thanks for posting the notation and great playing! I've worked out some parts for the Bass from your score and posted a video of it. Also I saw you posted a transcription of Stanley Jordan on Reddit, Stanley is amazing!
Your cover is great -- I wish I could play bass like that. Amazing job! Yeah I had a whole lot of fun making that Stanley Jordan sheet -- maybe one of these days I'll finish learning to play it, and post that video. I challenge you to beat me to it on the bass (:
Eoin Sinclair Dude this was awesome. I would love to practice this but got here too late. Is there any chance you can mail the sheet to mihodo0@gmail.com?
I was waiting for that part at 3:05 for the whole song! for some reason, i felt an incredible sense of relief when i heard it, the kind that comes after 3 minutes and 5 seconds of anticipation lol. and it was really well done. GOOD JOB!
Oh my gods, you are incredibly talented. I am not going to stop hunting the internet and as many archives as possible until I find your transcription. Thanks for making this world a wonderful place with your talent.
Fucking BEAUTIFUL! not only you made a perfect piano reduction, but your execution keeps the swing and groove of the original song. This really made my day. Keep it up!!!
Sir, Harder Better Faster by Daft Punk has been one of my, or my, favorite songs for a very long time. This amazing, almost re -creation of it is so awesome, I can't really describe it in words. ThankYou for making this, and I don't care if you do more or not, this is righteous.
Absolutely love it, but definitely a "loose" interpretation, or whatever you want to call it. Definitely not what's in the actual song note by note. Some parts have been transcribed with very high degrees of accuracy though, especially enjoy the parts towards the end. I stress again, that I really like it.
wow...* mind blown * Amazing how much musical substance the track in fact has, how much of it can actually be played on the piano - the original sounds so electronic, like it's samples and sounds combined...
what's great about seeing the rendition of this song played on piano is that it becomes clear that even though daft punk are known as electronic musicians, they still use elements of ol school jazz, funk and rnb. cool shit! great rendition by the player btw! keep up the good work!
To everyone that says Daft Punk is just a bunch of random noise and sucks cuz they are not. dubstep pay attention cuz if a person like this man can cover one of their songs on a piano thats says alot about their music and electronica dance music in general also this sounds amazing keep doing more man :)
From someone who breathed daftpunk for a good year this was amazing. I envy all pianists and have an overwhelming love for the music played by them. The is an overall nerdgasm i would have to say.
dude.. thats SICK! I've never thought anyone could actually play it on piano. I've actually been trying to figure out how. So this will give me much encouargement that its possible! :)
It's a good song, it's super hard to play, because he had to write down the notes all by himself while most of the others play by sheet! That's what makes this one so special!
This is amazing. It got me back on the piano after years of not playing it. Kudos to you! 2:25 onwards is really quite hard to get on the piano, took me quite a while before I got the hang of the beats. I wonder how you even figured it all out even the first place.
The Original Song was Cola Bottle Baby by Edwin Birdsong in the 70s, Then Daft Punk sampled it to make Harder, Better , Faster , Stronger. Kanye West has another sample version out there.
I can't imagine what this sounds like for those who haven't heard Daft Punk. I seriously cannot listen to this without having the actual song playing in my head.
Re: incorrect use of 'whom', the archetypal sign of someone trying just that bit too hard to impress and still getting it wrong. Enjoyed the plinking chords in this especially. Very nice.
At 1:40 I start to get chills.
Same
Watching this gem again after Daft Punk’s retirement 🥺
Same I'm in a daft punk binge mood
i’ve been playing for about five years now and i remember seeing this video when i first started piano and it truly inspired me due to the love i had for this song.
this is a lovely thing to hear! thank you for sharing!
He spent all this time on it, but did anyone else just skip to 1:46 and hear that part?
Wil Goodman only Daftfan know. like your comment!
No
Lol how’d you know
This is my favorite piano version on UA-cam, 'cause it really brings out the jazz of the song.
We're not worthy! We're not worthy! *insert bowing motion*
nice job on the several bars from 2:10 on.they looked tricky, but you play superbly.
Thanks for posting the notation and great playing!

Alright, admit it. You thought the reflection of the guy was a second person playing
Nope
... wait, that's him? I thought it was another guy doing homework or something
Was thinking wow they’re so coordinated playing all this together

I really want to play it by myself...

Absolutely incredible! Especially that your performance of it has so much of the nuance and accents/dynamics of the original.
Just perfect. Thanks for that 3 and half of minutes grate time in my life :)

harder better faster stronger is a much weirder than people usually remember it as

Thus proving a great song will sound great on nearly any instrument. Nice job!
Wow that was incredible like... Wow

This is sooooo good. I didn't know you could play this entire song on the piano!
Especially good job with the tricky rhythms and technicality, this really is note for note.
From someone who plays the piano and also likes Daft Punk, great job! I can't wait until the day I get good enough to do something like this.
I need to learn this! Great job. :) And thank you very much for being willing to share the sheet music you created.
Never ceases to amaze me
That has to be the most spot on cover of electronic music, I have ever heard.
My god that was orgasmic.
This is amazing. It got me back on the piano after years of not playing it. Kudos to you! 2:25 onwards is really quite hard to get on the piano, took me quite a while before I got the hang of the beats. I wonder how you even figured it all out even the first place.
Totally enjoyed every second of this. Thank you.
ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!!! I had a massive smile on my face from about1:50 onwards - perfect playing!
I would love to see/hear this in a higher quality. Let's make it happen, this is one of the best (if not THE best) Daft Punk cover I've seen.
thank you! It's irritating reading all these haters ridiculing this man's effort into trying to entertain us!
As a musician I respect very much what you did here.
Please upload more!!!! You're brilliant
