Hi Kimberly your mini twist are bomb. I do my mini twist on wet hair. I let them dry, then put them in two Bantu knots, but in the lower back part of my head, not the sides. I do not tuck the end where the curls form. I pin the hair above the curls. It gives your twists major poppage!!
I'm in Mini twist 99% of the time.. Love them and so does my hair..
Started to do a braid at the base of my twists and it has made all the difference.

Next time I'll blow-dry my hair for mini twists. They swell up insanely when my hair is wet or damp
love the video as usual. I would love to see a protective style series and how to moisturize while in the protective style. I know some ppl don't like using a liquid(water) while in a style due to minimizing frizz.

Did mine on wet hair on Tuesday and just sectioned it in four and band it with some hair ties to make it stretch...love it so far and it keeps my hands out of my hair for a while !

Mini Twist is my Go To. I keep mine in for about 3 to 4 weeks.
I just wash and use mane choice butter and twist. Love it. 😍

I love mini twists but I did them last month and I just don’t have it in me to do them again yet. And I’ve heard so many good things about moisture love. Gonna have to try them one day

Just did my mini twist 3 days ago and I much say I LOVE THEM!!
I've never been able to have wearable twist EVER! I will continue with them every 2 to 3 weeks for the next year to see how much length I can retain.

I knew there was a reason I liked you. I’m a twist girl too😍 I’ve gained so much using this as my protective style. My hair is thick but fine strands so other protective styles cause me to loss more hair than I gain. Looks good frenn

I definitely like the look. Your mini twist are bomb and I now know why my twist puff up and look fat even if I call myself doing them small. Going on 3 weeks with mine. I didn’t blow my hair out first and I used the TGIN daily moisture butter and the uncle funkys daughter curl magic.
I wear mini braids but mainly under my wigs and I make them bigger, cause girl I ain't got time. Lol. I tried mini twists one time but they unraveled before I made it out the darn door. Lol. I'm going to try again for sure. Your hair is so long and thick. Your twists are 💣. 😍

Hey Freeennn I'm still rocking my mini twist. I did mine on wet hair though.
They come out smoother that way and more defined when you take them out💯
I thought about doing mine on wet hair too since I'm doing them today but I really dont want the shrinkage so I'm going to start on blown out hair instead.
@@africajourney2182 I always feel with me applying a styler after it has been blown out will only revert my hair which defeats the purpose of blowing my hair out.

Fren I’m on almost 4 weeks of mini twists. Got about 2 weeks out of the first, washed my hair and was like eh let’s put more in. I kinda wanna wash tomorrow and put them back in cause quarantine has me not caring but maybe I’ll do something different

If y'all want to keep the stretch on blown out hair, try afro sheen lush butter. It will smooth the cuticles but won't revert the hair and cause it to shrink 💯
