A girl in my school netball team wears a hijab, we were playing when it was really windy and it fell of and she didn’t have an under cap on so a bunch of my female team mates ran around and circled her so none of the guys would see. Never felt school pride quite like taht

The issue/discussion/choice of wearing Hijab is only between a person and Allah. You don't automatically become a bad person with a bad character for not wearing hijab, niqab or burqa

Salaam sister, welcome x I find long dresses or tunics over trousers quite good for modesty. You have to shop around though as a lot of clothes are quite immodest and tight fitting, but you can often find some styles looser without having to buy sizes that are too big. Modanisa is good in that way, as well as other Muslim specific fashion. Maxi dresses with a cardigan on top are also a good option. If you can get a long sleeved loose dress that's not see through (placing a ring behind the fabric is a good way to tell if you can see through it) that's great for the summer as you don't need any layers. Freedom is the freedom to choose to wear whatever you want. Deciding to wear a hijab in a free society is not oppressive. Take for example the women of Iran. Hijabi and non-hijabi women alike are fighting for the freedom of choice. They’re fighting against the compulsory hijab law, not the hijab itself.
