Still can't believe it's been 3 years! Feels like I was landing in Changi for the first time just yesterday. What questions do you want me to answer about living in Singapore? 🇸🇬

Thank you so much for saying that! It takes a lot of time to film and edit each video so that means a lot :)

My wife and I came to Singapore for one contract and we’ve been here 15 years now lol… Somewhere during that time all our friends went from fellow expats to mostly all Singaporean’s. That says a lot about Singaporean people, how welcoming and excepting they are…
PS… You never get used to the heat, you will get used to being hot….lol

Oooooh do you live in Tanjong Pagar ? I stayed 10 days at Habyt Cantonment and came back home two days ago. I feel you for the heat and humidity but, idk why, it was good for my body at some point. I came sick and it disappeared quickly + I had no issue with digestion. I also felt so safe walking at night; really not the same in France. I've decided just today that I'd come back iin SG next year for holidays too. To work in SG seems to be complicated since I'm a social worker; but there are many SW in SG so, why not ?
I did not see these calm areas in Orchard Road so... Ah, that's why I have to come back. You're showing places I want to go to :D
Thank you for your honest answers !

Glad to hear you enjoyed your trip! Funny enough Habyt Cantonment is where I first stayed when I moved to SG while apartment hunting. You might also find my video on how to find a job in SG helpful: ua-cam.com/video/y8tHwv85EGY/v-deo.html

Lovely share, Spore is one of the easiest 'bubble' places to live in in the world & while its getting more expensive it doesn't have to be if u know where to live and eat lol

Weather is something that one can't change. Can be a big problem if you are sensitive to it. Find a better place that suits U. It is a personal decision. The other thing is culture and environment. You must like hdb and hawker centre as it is important part of SG.

I went for a walk at 4 am recently because I felt the need to. Surprisingly, there were a lot of women on the 1 km path that I have taken, there were men too but not as many.

I think if you're prepared for the hot weather, you can still enjoy your trip! Trying to do outdoor activities at morning or night, stay indoors in AC in the afternoon at museums or shopping etc.

    • @lecherhao86

Getting a work permit isn't that simple. You must have a specialized skill that few locals have, if not, why would people hire you and not the local?

Dear Hapa! If I may? Looked at Spore employers. Across all sectors. A mistake of employee. Expats included. Do not behave & say we r working in this firm/ Company because.... I got it alot from PRC. Eg. They said Spore has the best Gov, Public tpt & housing. They r rich not interested in earning a living. They r here to experience this green city. My friends! Employers will absurb u. SME. Since this employee said this, the boss will not pay salaries in time.
