My one budgie lay her first egg before 5 days ago and on the bottom of cage . She mistakenly broke it . But today I am happy that she laid 2nd in the pot nest and taking care of the agg by sitting and heating it thanks for this video help me to taking care of her .

Sometimes it takes a while.... sometimes it is instantaneous.
while developing a new eggs, abdomen and vent both become a bit swollen.
Even if it doesn't developing new egg, no need to worry. The swollen vent will be normal within a few days...

I just took a small open bowl, covered it with a cloth, kept it inside the cage with the other birds and transferred her egg right in front of her. It took her some time to go near her egg, but she then got comfortable on the bowl and laid the rest of her eggs there itself, all except one that is.
