Budgies will break their eggs if they're vitamin or mineral deficient. Budgies may also sense disease or defects in the eggs and smash them to start over.

Yes it's infertile😕 because it takes 17 to 18 days to hatch ,hope your other eggs be fertile 😊😊

My budgies eggs usually hatch on 21st day. That means we can have hope on eggs to hatch till 23rd day. If eggs dont hatch after 23rd day,that means they r infertile.

My bird Sky has been trying to take over a little hut that mango my other bird sleeps in even tho she rarely goes near it .. Also shes been eating more lettuce than usual and having bigger and fewer droppings.

I have 4 female parakeets and 1male. The vet told me to sepearte them because they will mate. The male is probably 4 months old and he loves being with them. I cant do that to him. What should i do? The vet said its not good to breed the budgies.
What should I feed my parakeets when they’re breeding/pregnant? Right now I feed them pellets, nutriberries, fruits and vegetables, and every once in a while some millet. They also have a cuttlebone and mineral block in their cage. Does their diet have to change when my female is pregnant? Thanks!

I have a question, we have gotten a breeding box but it's dark inside so will we need to put a light inside or will they manage with it being dark?
Don't worry about the darkness inside the nest, but it would be better if there was at least a light from the window 😬

My bird cere is not brown but she is going to lay egg soon..
It doesn't always mean that they're going to lay eggs if their cere is brown 😝 depends on the mutation... The age is more important, they should be 10+ months old

Why don't u use any nesting material in your breeding boxes?
Because they don't like any nesting 😆 they prefer clean nest...but after the chicks hatch, I'll add wood shaving to prevent splayed legs
