That was the most interesting non informed video ever. Lol. I appreciate it. But Jeff’s clearly a smart dude that doesn’t like to explain his electrical wizardry in depth.
Lol, I really tried to have him relay the info so that you could do it yourself but it definitely didn’t translate I know haha. That’s why I made a point at the end to just say buy the bi pass kit online.
@howeequipment it's simple enough, I understand exactly what he did..but I have an electrical background...so...its a good idea. I need to sort one out.
Yes Sir I have my friends in my yard since last summer. It's 2006 green 500 Rubicon. Pretty nice he let his wife's ex family borrow it they didn't do it no favors. Wore out new set of mud lites or mod something they were about 2" tread new now1/2" in few months they hard roaded it 12 mile round trip on hot road. 2-4,5 times a day. It had shifting problem took it to shop got it fixed few hundred in parts and several n labor. That was before they borrowed it. Got it back put it here so they wouldn't ask to use it again. I rode it twice hunting not dogging it. Went out other day wouldn't shift flashing. Now I'm going fix it. So thanks. Also might buy it then fix it. Just in case I mess something up but pretty mechanical so should be good. I have 300 4x4 99 model got for 100$. Had rewire it got it to run great find out leaking oil bad. Back upper motor mount on them Honda's 300 cracked tried fix it looked like but it's bad bought lower half just get case but said it was good it had bad wrist pin. Idk because I got running 97 motor 250$ with starter transfer case everything no carb I think put it on she run good. Got about 600$ n it total all extras everything. Also guy has 500 gave me his stock 12" wheels and factory tires where decent mine had 12" front already and one back and one 11" 4 oblong holes rest was circles around rim. Well sorry about rambling I'm subbing up stay safe from ur ole hillbilly buddy. Thanks again
I installed this bypass system and worked first time up and down the gears. Now it won't shift down easily but shifts up with ease. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Ever had one that has typical shift problems stuck in 1st now but off thing is when I get it in reverse 2004 Rancher ES, it sputters badly going in reverse and seeks to flood the carb Would that bypass kit help all the shift issues?
Can he please show the actual test for the shift switches and the shift motor too. Explain the test procedures using a multi-meter for both of these . Thank you
99/100 times it’s the cable at the switch housing. Shoot it with cleaner and ride away. I have the same model as in the video, and have fixed a few dozen others
This technician isn’t actually fixing anything. Just finding another way to make it work. I understand that this is an extremely old quad, but it still needs to be fixed properly. This guy just left nonworking components in the machine and jumpered around them. Hack…
The guy needs to stop moving the relays around so much so i can get a good screen shot on how to wire them lol if i can get that i have everything to build what he built lol

Thanks for the vid! Curious to know if there is a kit for a 2003 Honda Foreman Rubicon ES 500?
I think if you google it, there is.
Could you please show for the 02 up. I need better explanation.
Did you check the voltage regulator or stator. If you don't have the correct voltage it causes these intermittent issues.
Amazing, man after mine own ❤, your talent is incredible

Mine has the same problem.

Is the flat plug on the sensor pigtail or the shifter pigtail on the right side of frame ?

The guy needs to stop moving the relays around so much so i can get a good screen shot on how to wire them lol if i can get that i have everything to build what he built lol
All I hear him talking is do this do that and doesn't mean anything 😂
Waste of my 3 minutes 😂
Phoney electrician and a clickbait 😂

That is one of the most helpful vids I've ever found on this topic much thanks.
