I respect your decision to use a steel carabiner and a steel ring!
    Thanks for the helpful video!
I will definitely try your wonderful method!

You've got a really innovative mind man, major major kudos to you for sharing with the world---that said, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a lil upset at how limited the adoption of your big-ring has been, my two biggest anchors are the "X-branded" types (a multi-ring one and their Safebloc one, which is just great!) however when I saw the Giorgio Fiori ring it blew my mind I mean you could use one spliced to a sling as a very strong anchor but for *most* stuff, even heavy stuff, simply knotting a line around the ring as an anchor is more than sufficient or as you show in videos to simply use the eye splice at the end of the sling to girth-hitch the Ring. Its giant bend-radius is just magnificent, its sling-groove is plenty reassuringly-safe, and the overall-mass of it means heat-dissipation would be outstanding....I wish they were more widely-available, I'm about to bite-the-bullet and order one from overseas (I'm in the US) but it pisses me off that it's not available through any US retailers, I'd be very eager to know whether this is because you're withholding the ring's roll-out and trying to keep it exclusive, or whether it's because the US retailers are choosing not to make-available such an amazingly-innovative take on the rigging-ring approach! Hell I'm surprised that, at minimum, that there aren't knock-offs/clones made by X-rigging/ABR/others, the over-sized ring is just such an obvious move when bend-radius and heat-dissipation are important factors, I watch a video with a Fiori Ring and then glance at the "Large" 28x20mm x-rings on one end of my sling and they look like they belong on my *climbing* fricttion-saver not on a rigging device!
(am also curious, though don't necessarily expect an answer, about just how cheap these things are...I understand you want - and you're right to, you deserve it - to profit from that ring, but I guess I would've expected that by now TreeStuff/Sherrill would've just made their own and put it at ~$80, I mean it can't cost half that much to produce an aluminum ring no?)
Again, thanks for everything, it's people like you, Reg Coates, David Driver, Kevin Bingham, Richard Mumford etc who push this industry forward, I hope things/life are working out well for you man, and thanks for all the videos am going to work my way through your series/channel as my next one (just finishing another channel now, I find it's best for me to stay with 1 content-creator at a time, helps me compare them better!)
PS- At risk of sounding like an ignorant american, I've gotten the impression that the US and Europe are like the only places on the globe that have truly "modern arboriculture", in this 'information age' it surprised me a lot when I began hearing comments on how US-based guys are getting flown to Tokyo for more-sophisticated rigging operations, I mean how nascent can an industry be if it needs overseas help? It makes me think that I'd have a better career if I went somewhere that I "was more in-need" IE somewhere the industry isn't as developed, I have to imagine that it's best for the arborist and the area they work if they've setup their business somewhere that was in-need, as opposed to somewhere competitive that's already got plenty of talent/equipment in the area!

Hi, thanks for your coment mate, the Fiori's ring was thought just for the reasons you wrote. That said, FTC produes the Fiori's ring (they just kept my name on it), so they set the price, I don't decide anything about it. About the fact tha it's not available in US, I think that is just 'cause US retailers should pay too high shipping cost to get them, or maybe there's not enough request for them to push the US retailer to order them... you should ask them the reason why they don't sell the Fiori's rings.
I don't know how is the situation in Asia or in other part of the world, sorry I can't help you.
Thanks again for all the compliments, have a great day mate!

Could you describe the benefits and weaknesses of each? I’m struggling to see what the advantages of one is over another and when to apply it. Thanks

Is that dyna glide throw line or is that normal chalk line? I love these anchors. It's a rain day. So I suppose I'll be practicing your methods indoors today. Your really helping me add to my arsenal of techniques, thanks Fiori.

MR. Fiori, your certainly a man our mother land of Italy can be proud of. A guy like you acknowledging my remarks makes for a good feeling. I salute you for helping me appear as if I've been in the canopy access department for a long time. I have NOT. You've helped me with making canopy access and positioning look simple and so much FUN😁❤🤙💪

+colorado2264 Ciao Colorado, sono tecniche in corda singola e per i dati tecnici e di utilizzo è meglio approfondire con un corso di SRT, perchè un video non può essere sicuramente esaustivo. Grazie Giorgio
