    You know its a good video when you take your tools out and set the system up while following along with the video!
    Not sure where you are but here in Texas we say "thanks bro."

    Nice stuff Mark - such clear instructions and superb footage. Given the effort, in return, for ease of reference I've captured the salient points and time stamped it
    1:00 Option 1: Pass both lines passed thru a carabiner on a webbing sling. Can use the webbing sling in a either basket or choked configuration depending on the length needed. Downside is friction between the two lines running past each other in different directions
    2:00 Option 2: Add a Pinto pulley to run the lower line thru to separate the lines. Downside is the possible pinching of the line depending upon the diameter between the Pinto's cheek plates
    2:48 Option 3: Add a Revolver Rig in addition to a Pinto Pulley to separate the lines with even less friction
    3:17 System is stored on vault behind handsaw. Consists of Revolver rig, Perfecto, Pinto and Multi-sling
    3:47 Set-up of option 3. Note: when installing the Revolver Rig beware of the direction of the gate - to minimise it touching structure when the line is being used
    6:47 De-installing and stowing neatly

    Great video, man. I was just thinking about how one would redirect on DDRT the other day. I personally climb SRT and redirect with a loop runner/webbing sling and biner all the time. This is great, thanks! Keep up the great work, man. Climb high & stay safe.

    I've been doing a lot of research on this B4 buying and I got say... I am completely fallen for this harness!!! hopefully, in the following days, I will buy it! Just one wish brother... maybe in the near future... please make that adapter able to trap both bridges together, I definitely feel a lot safer hanging from both bridges at the same time, for now, I'ii see what can use for both rope bridges that have a swivel, I was actually thinking of buying the revolver (like the one you are showing in the video but instead of this one, the revolver that has two pulleys) and see if that works with the dual bridges... but if you ever make one, I'll definitely buy it, for sure!

    Personally in a tree a do like my climbing line offset so i dont really use a redirect. That said i do alot of work on rows of laylandii and willow usually tied into 1 and working 2-3 either side. If you are looking for a cheaper option use a cutaway, beener and a pinto ( pintos have a wider gape so less friction, 11.7 my rope)
    This vid definitely helped me out even tho i took a different path

    Slick set up! I've always just ran the pinto alone like you first had, except I use the spacer which can free spin and act as a pulley. Usually run true 1/2" lines for MRS and have yet to get pinched in the cheek. Knock on wood

      All those items can be implemented into other climbing configurations. So an investment really i think.

    • @donnyarcane
      @donnyarcane 3 роки тому +3

      @@totaratree99 Exactly, it's an investment. It's an investment in your safety and your efficiency to work in and around the canopy.

    • @chaseaspen8904
      @chaseaspen8904 3 роки тому +4

      Funny but its not $400. You dont need the exact, and very expensive equipment he is using. You can mimic it with much less expensive gear. All you need are 2 biners, 1 pinto pulley, 1 pulley with 2 hole attachments (substitute for the revolver pulley) and an extra split tail (to substitute the webbing sling). That's like $150 max. worth it when working a wide ass canopy.

    i need that bridge attachment. any word when it will be released?

  • @daniel_913
    @daniel_913 14 днів тому

    The issue is what you lose on the friction you gain on more time and more gear to lug around and the cost of this redirect is stupid expensive. A karabiner and sling work perfectly fine and cost is very low. Why complicate things?
