Best way to get a 1x1 lego apart is using the pry tools that come with every bigger set these days. You use another pry tool to hold it and leaver the top one off by prying against it. That little pry tool is so freaking useful. As a kid, before Lego made them, we’d use our teeth 😂

I've always just twisted one of them to a diagonal then used the little ledge to flick it off. And yes, teeth. The original pry tool, lmao
