I watch QT more than lud so I know he's absolutely right when he says QT would not accept an award, which is understandable and also so unfortunate, she is such a versatile and talented creator that could be nominated in a variety of categories. I know public praise isn't her thing, but I wish there was a more meaningful way to show her how important she is to the industry

My argument for Maximilian_dood as best fighting game creator would be thus: This was one of the biggest years for fighting games in a long time mostly because they've been getting repopularized and we had massive game drops this year, and I think Maximilian_dood did a massive amount of work to build the community up to this point. I honestly don't think modern fighting games would be as good without Maximilian_dood's influence. He was able to point out what makes good fighting games good to a huge audience which no doubt influenced development (he was a big supporter of rollback netcode for example), and he also helped get a new generation of people interested in fighting games with how easily he builds hype. I'd say Max hands down should win this category

SmallAnt content wise had an AMAZING year, it really is just such good content arguably some of his best outside of the Mario Odyssey hide and seek. But I agree. It wasn't really speedrunning like how he use to do actual speedruns. He is one of my personal favorite creators though and I actually really like this style of content too

Best variety streamer for me will always be Ray Narvaez Jr (just Ray on twitch). He's been doing it over a decade now and he uploads every stream in full to UA-cam. The library of content is INSANE and his community is always just pure positive vibes
