Pres. Barack Obama surprises Chicago Public Schools students, gifts them his book 'A Promised Land'

On Monday, a special guest paid a virtual visit to CPS students over Zoom. What they didn’t know was how special that guest was and what he had in store for the students: It was former President & Chicago resident Barack Obama! Obama gifted the students digital copies of his new book, "A Promised Land," which chronicles the first half of his presidency. He plans to discuss it with them in an upcoming virtual book club that will be moderated by "Windy City LIVE" co-host Val Warner.
