- 1968 Dodge Dart drag car with a small block mopar 360 dodge motor making 530 horse power. My girlfriends first time in the car doing a 4500 rpm launch! Great Mopar drag race action!

Love your car. I had a ‘69 Dart Swinger 4 speed car in the mid 1970’s. Pumped it up a little with a Coletti grind cam, headers and a six pack setup off a AAR ‘Cuda and a little bump in compression. Never got it to a legit strip though. No idea how fast it was... other than the beat downs of SBC Camaros’ and big 383 Roadrunners at a local marked off 1/4 mile outside of town. Once was never enough for them. They always wanted to try it a second time. Lol...

Get to a quarter mile track might have to change the gear a little but it will be worth it.
4.10:1 is fine for that set up in a 1/4 mile. Probably 124 - 126 MPH 1/4 mile.

@@SimpsonsSpeedShop With the mirror removed... The three screws holding the retainer plate are visible. Snug the paired screws, then the single screw adjusts the tension on the pivot ball. (DON'T GORRILLA THESE) If it still doesn't tighten up enough... Take off the retainer plate and place on vise or anvil with small ball diameter up. With 2 hammers, a controlled double hammer hit on the small diameter of the sphere... As soon as you reassemble it you will feel the difference... Your original 50+ year old mirror wouldn't move if it was in a top fueler! I expect to see this fixed in your future videos! A little older and Mopar wiser, Frank Parks at Mopar Restos Summerville, Ga.

So how exactly are you converting 384 foot times to 1/4 mile. I have seen many calculators converting from 330 or 1/8 mile but have yet to see one converting from that goofy 384 foot track. Really too bad you aren't near a real track.
Track provides a calculator but I thinks it’s like x2.2 to get it to 1/4 mile

Car only has lap belts as it came with originally. It has since been upgraded.
