This campaign had the coolest cutscenes and imo most relate-able stories. The Witness speech at the end had me thinking, why the heck I am playing this game anyways. Profound stuff
In my opinion, it was worth to play this moment in destiny. Im not going to lie, that was the hardest mission to fight against the witness and all the cutscenes are amazing too, but the fight is not over, the game is almost finish and still so many secrets to discover. Also the way the witness change the entire galaxy, the people and earth into a big wierd reality in a version that eveyone will be in a state of a frozen statue, thats terrified and thats actually what the witness wants, perfection over billions. In real life there is no perfection, everyone tries but in the end there is no perfection.
Yeah. I like to think the main part of the Witness, the one who is mostly in control, feared things about life before its people fled the Traveler and met the Veil, learning to commune with the Darkness and become the Witness, like it couldn't control it. Which fits to Targe calling him (the main part of the Witness) out for being afraid, which is what I felt was the case since Lightfall, given the Witness has always felt like he is about control-- the need for it, to think only he could judge what the future was for the universe with the Final Shape, and failing to see we give purpose to life, nothing else.
Haven't beaten it yet, but man I'm enjoying the hell out of this. Great job as always! Lol you fly through the missions and im taking 45min to an hour each, 4 missions beaten so far.
At 3:43:25 boss room. for the very last boss I sat up on those rectangular pillars right before you go into the 2 side rooms. I crouched and he couldn't even really hit me.
Wow bungie really did an impressive job on the story it’s telling it’s heart touching, understandable, powerful, it also has a meaning to actual life now. Like loosing loved ones and living life to make the best out of it while you can no second chances.
You're a legend! I wish I had the hand and wrist stamina and agility to pull off those moves, but I'll settle for easy mode when possible and winning by persistence otherwise ^_^

4:09:32 i found that if you send a rocket to the back area with all the flying enemies, you can spawn the tormentor and then wittle it down to low health before stepping into the darkness zone area. Make sure to leave it alive until you enter cause I soft locked myself from progressing when i killed it near the rally banner. The game didn't register that i had killed all adds and wouldn't disperse the barrier.

wow i found another mechanic that doesnt happen to you. My light aura from shield goes away after one witness attack. you still have it up after two and a subjugator attack as well. Its amazing dude how u can just post this everytime and have no thoughts on the differences. I would be so nervous for my life in a car driven by you.

Power level doesn’t matter, everything for everyone was raised to 1900. All gear was unset, so you can use anything you had (may have been power crept, but you’ll get plenty of new stuff). The Shadowkeep and Beyond Light campaigns are free to play for everyone now and there is a Legacy collection that bundles all other non-tFS stuff for $70, currently on sale on Steam for $24.50 (presumably other platforms as well?). This is probably about as good a time to get back in as there will be (depending on the post tFS announcement).

Tried it solo legendary with my titan. With the Quicksilver Storm assault rifle that shoots extra rockets and a random scout with 1930 gs. @32:00 I had to redo the second part 5 or 6 times because I was getting overwhelmed and killed while taking too long to kill mobs. Yet here they are practically getting one-shotted. How? Now I'm on the end of mission 1 but will restart it on normal I guess. I don't even own the DLC so it's not worth the effort. I just don't understand how my damage is so extremely low.
@@fiftytwo_ny Swapped to Polaris Lance and from a grenade launcher to an lmg made the Tormentor fight much easier. Until the Tormentor that is. I would still never one shoot anything but could pick them from afar very safely. I tried two times. I managed to get the Tormentor at his last 1/3 of his health but both times he got me with his shotgun blasts while I was running around, trying to get my health back up and avoiding minions. I could do it, but it just wasn't worth the time. Got the seasonal accessory by switching to normal and breezing through.
@nikosxi He is applying void debuff with his side arm, which is causing them to be take more damage plus. When I was doing it on Titan, I was using outbreak prime and the rocket side arm, along with a machine gun and it worked amazingly great.
gonna be honest, yes campaign looks nice and sure there will be more coming but i aint sold to buy 50 or 100 bucks for a game pass and campaign when it is about 5 hours worth of a campaign. Great example is i created a new Elden ring character and i have already invested 3 times as much in the game and still have plenty to do. plus dlc is right around the corner. I've enjoed Destiny 2 for many years, but 100 bucks just for this and a bit of extra. ill rather wait till they make it free to play or reduce the cost to 60

Yea you are for sure playing a different game. Not once did i see you get hit by a grims siren, not once did i see you get slowed by a duskfield grenade. When i play both are spammed, the grims just stay far away enough where my guns cant reach them, as soon a i start to head towards them they instantly fly toward me in one second and do a siren that stuns me an therefore kills me. So can you explain why that is?
You can take out the grim from afar. I barely got hit by their sirens either. I usually avoided duskfields but the times I got stuck in them was me being careless
I don't know why in my mind the campaign lasted so many hours, in the end the campaign lasted less than the new version of Honkai Star Rail, and it's free

i dont believe that you are just the best player and so good at this game, it should not be that difficult for me to do the movements and attack the enemies when you do. Everytime you shoot the subjugator the witness lets you do that for a full clip, for me i cant even aim my gun before my health hits red. It’s just a selectable strike on the patrol map, it’s not a part of the main campaign missions.

Machine gun doesn't do anything. Just use Dragon breath. Best launcher for the final boss.
