Thanks for posting Mak! In a couple of weeks we will have a heavy hatch of large mayflies ( Hexagenia Limbata ) on the local lakes. I'll tie up a couple with the extended foam bodies.
Hi Mak. I thought I would chime in and tell you to watch the J:son Sweden method of making extended bodies with foam. The size you tied in the video would be great for a Green Drake or Hexigenia Limabata adult, but using their method, I have tied extended bodies down to a size 20, while still maintaining the correct proportions.
