- It’s time for Marcus Rashford to take on Quickfire Questions on The Overlap brought to you by Sky Bet.
Marcus scored 30 goals last season for Man United, so it seemed fitting to ask him 30 questions during our walk at his training camp in Portugal.
We chat tattoos, his favourite goal, and who controls the tunes in the dressing room.

As a Liverpool fan, I'm so happy that he said he despises Liverpool more than Citeh. That's how it should be. Despite our recent rivalries with Citeh & Chelsea, Utd are still the team most hated at Anfield. Caveat: Rivalry should never be more than banter & delight at misfortune on the pitch, it should never spill into any form of abuse or hate.
It will always be your lot, the hatred we have for eachother is almost beautiful.
Will always be you, I feel that United and Liverpool fans can hate what eachother has done, but also have somewhat of sense of respect for how it was done. Can’t say that of Citeh
I fell off football after 20 yrs in 2010. I came back last year and yes, I still hate you lot more than anyone. It’s a nice hate though, all in good spirit. The day we batter you will be a beautiful day for us hahaha ❤

To be fair I think now he's retired most people know how good he was
2004-2012. He decline during fergie’s last season.
Shame football took a toll on him earlier than others, prime Wazza was really something else.
Unsurprisingly Marcus just comes across as a great down to Earth lad. I've been watching United since Gary replaced Paul Parker and Marcus has easily been my favourite player since Sir Alex retired. Just a top lad 👍

I've never seen him this confident in an interview before. Really impressed with his demeanour; something has definitely changed in him for the better

Erik Ten Hag you can thank for that, heard the story that he went for a two hour chat at Marcus's house pre last season, been excellent ever since.
He's grown up, last 2 seasons were a major turning point for him.
Neville is a very good interviewer as well. Really gets the player to be themselves and act naturally
He’s enjoying his football again.
That he has a natural shyness about him makes the fact that he chose not to stay behind a gated community and say, “I’m alright Jack” even more remarkable.
Whether he excels on the pitch or not, he’s shown enough off of it that I’d want him associated with the club for life.

Being a Liverpool fan it’s hard to like a United player but I do like Rashford. He seems like a nice guy and well spoken and always gives his all on the pitch
As a United fan I mostly agree. Except he hasn’t always given his all on the pitch.
Maybe im just getting older but i feel the same about a few Liverpool players, there's also something nice about seeing a local lad grow up and play for their team. Despite my United allegiance, I could never hate on Trent, quality player and came through the academy there, truly living the dream.

I LOVE THIS MAN TO DEATH. Idiots and trolls online will hate him for a year and a half of underwhelming football but forget the man had two consecutive 20 plus goal scoring seasons at 21 years of age. Add on top the absolute class and warmth he showed during COVID to achieve what he did and this last season scoring 30 goals. Proved them all wrong and I believe in him to keep doing that in the future as well.

I'm a Arsenal fan but have so much respect for this young lad Marcus Rashford, way he speaks, acts, plays his football and for what he does in his personal life for everyone as he came from the bottom and made it all not only for his self but for the ones he loves and even for us who he don't even know. Seems like a really good lad. Down to earth, and raised well. Bought his mum a house with his first paycheck, if I heard him correctly, and one for each member of his family. And he's got his family portrait as a tattoo as well as the places where he lived in through the years. Though I noticed he didn't say "still playing at United in five years' time", but he did say if he's still playing at the top level and won trophies with United, then it doesn't matter where he'll be....so that's at least something good.
