I get what you mean in the segment about "passing the orb" and I've been guilty of that. On the other hand, as far as I can recall is nothing to indicate you should pass the orb to a teammate. I find that in a lot of game play: Often times the player has no idea at all what to do in with something after they get it. The corrupted orb meme, why e funny is also a frustrating product of Bungie not really having a communication in-game that informs players what to do with them. In newer content, such as Seraph Shield, they've started putting in mechanic tool-tips. They should really start implementing them wider in the game. BUT ALSO ifthey do that, there needs to be a setting to turn them off. I dont want a reminder of how DSC augments work every Seraph Shield run, yknow?
I always hated having to use certain weapons, but the build I ran at the time destroyed the champions so quickly that it didn't matter if I ran a champion mod.
You only need to do that if it's the nightfall version, because it increases the power of the orb to do more damage to the boss's shields. If you don't do it, her shields will only take a third damage or less depending on how hard the nightfall is (legendary, master, GM).
@@8g36gi No problem. Over 3000 hours in destiny 2 over here, done grandmaster nightfalls, solo flawless on all the dungeons etc... Not much I don't know except lore wise.
If you're going to pay to play then you shouldn't get banned for you gameplay. No matter how you approach it, destiny costs uou money and for someone else to judge your gameplay and ban you is not right. Let people play the way they want and stop judging or holding them to such a high standard or your personal standard. Don't preach community then cull people out because you don't like their style.
I genuinely think a lot of these issues arise because the game is not very beginner friendly when it comes to explaining things. The new player experience is really rough; even more so if you don’t have an experienced player there to teach you the things the game doesn’t directly address. Obviously, as with any game, the more experience you have the less mistakes you’ll probably make. But I just think these issues are exacerbated in Destiny 2 because the game is generally pretty difficult to learn for players who are completely unfamiliar with it.
For the lost sector tutorial being removed on Cosmodrome, i think therez a better reason, until Season of the Deep, we had 2 tutorials on it, that one, and on EDZ, it's a waste of time, so it makes more sense to have been removed than "everyone sucks at jumping"
funny fact,at 1:40 upon sharing your settings for arial dz i have notice your field of view at 105 and if I remember correctly you were suggesting on some old videos to play at 80-95 that range. have you changed it recently? if so an updated video of that would be nice.
Good video. In fact a lot of these videos are very good and informative. I've been playing video games since 8-bit days. My first system was a ColecoVision while all my other friends, of course, got the better atari. Anyway, I play for fun. I'm 53 years old, and the last thing I care about is jumping around like a jumping bean and sliding around, thinking that I'm God's gift. All I think about that is what a show-off. Now if I'm on my last breath then you're dang right I'm going to slide and hide behind something so I don't die or at least try not to but to label everything as Noob players is totally wrong. I'm not a sweaty Destiny player. I play a gamut of other games, and I have a gaming room . My home has xboxes in every room that has a tv, BUT I also have a life. I raised all 3 of my kids on video games, and now they are 30, 28, and 22, and I'll beat them down in a game any day 🎉 but my whole point is is that at least for me being an older gamer I really don't care about my build that much. Do I look at my stats yes I do am I going to grind for a better stat on a piece of gear? Hell no. Do I go into strikes wearing a piece of gear sometimes that doesn't match my ability? Hell yeah what's my take on that? The fact that I'm too lazy to change it. What irritates me the most is that gaming has changed absolutely so much since back in the day when I was a kid. And as much as I see people stating how much they're helpful etc I have seen none of that. I've done one raid to this day of all the time ive been playing. Why? Because I don't want to mic up and play with 12 year olds hear screaming and freaking out over a game. What gets me is that people really care or are concerned about people's builds in the game. Who cares what they are wearing what their builds are? You do your own thing and I'll do mine. If people are actually taking the time to look at my character and see what I'm wearing and using? Like you need a life. It's a freaking game. Unless you are making money at gaming out...uh get a job and get some vitamin D by going outside and doing something. You want to check me out check me out but that's not going to change anything. If I do something you don't like or if I'm not sure exactly what to do and you think it's hilarious well that's on you and I'm glad I don't know you in person because you're probably a jerk. The exploding shanks...have to punch 9 of those..I tried...got owned..thought to myself..screw that lol....see not a noob trying to accomplish something. Not to mention the ones who Slide in front of you and steal your motes And not revive you or Try and rush in front of you to get the radiolite when everybody gets it and we're all trying to help one another, not to mention running ahead in strikes is my all time personal fav. I might be trying to get kills for a catalyst you dont know so why run ahead and pull me into the boss? Wow im impressed! 👏 Thanks! I can just imagine what these people are like in real life. talk about idiots. Can't speak for all of them but us older Gamers don't care. We are there to play and have fun we really don't care. Just remember you all aren't playing with children all the time and most of all be helpful and be nice. Remember it's only a game seriously and you were sitting on a couch or in a chair pushing buttons on a thing that you are holding in two hands. You dont know who you are actually gaming with on you until you check out their actual profile and they might be trying to get something accomplished such as a catalyst etc. The higher ranks or the ones that have triumphs out the ying yang are the worse that I have come across. No help. Just running ahead and jumping and sliding and showing off.😂 its not a noob thing its a I dont care, im having fun thing. Sorry my rant is long. Im a woman and well that comes with the territory but so tired of hearing ppl make fun of others or call ppl noobs when ppl should just game out together and have fun for its meant to be that. Its why I never stopped gaming out and raised my kids on it.
Don't forget the guardians that do strikes and try to use there sparrow to skip the first section in said strike and die then you stroll up to them and revive them
2:40 I've played destiny so much that for a while everytime I did this strike I'd perfectly toss the orb from where you get it then directly at the boss never knowing that passing it though players buffs it until a few months ago. BTW I've also kept up with d2 since the year when forsaken expansion was introduced
I have a build but people don’t understand it. I wear the exotic Oathkeeper with my overpowered legendary Arsenic Bite-4b with both Dragonfly and Explosive heads and I’ve fine tuned it to the most damage possible.
I'm no noob but you'll find me on low resilience in pve if it's easy content and I just hopped in there with my pvp build or some random shit because I need to get kills with xyz to finish a pathfinder / bounty. I have refined pve builds but I'm not about to make a build for 30 incineration kills or stuff like that.
Noobs aren't the only ones with bad fashion. Sometimes I make my fashion so bad on purpose to make my friends laugh. We went into an IB match and all had mismatched armor and colors just for the hell of it.
I did not watch all of it but also the blind well 3 orb as well for the hive version 😐 same as the strike you need to pass it to a friend to make it go super boom!
He said right at the beginning that its all relatable and we were all noobs at one pt. Wouldnt say hes being aggressive, just listing more common mistakes when youre new.
I am not a noob but I still feel embarrassed when I remember the time it took me to start using MODs and when I used to delete spiky armor because I thought regular distribution stats were better. OMG 😵💫 (note: It happened in D1). I still hate jumping puzzles 🙂
How to be better at this game in the movement and aiming category: making your own key binds and settings and you will see a massive improvement in how you play.

Same with breach executable, chances are if you type to not go to the boss half the time noobs won't go, and then just watching the video he just stares at the noob expecting some sort of eureka moment from nothing? smh
Something I’ve noticed is the lack of coms from all players new and old. I wish more players would have a mic on as this would help find new players to learn from and play with.
The "solo" playerbase seems to have increased quite a lot in the last 2 or 3 years. Especially now with fireteam finder, there are an insane amount of people who have 0 plans to communicate whatsoever. Not even text chat. It's genuinely wild
Well the problem with that is I don't want to talk to a 12-year-old kid. Or a 20-something year old that acts like a 12-year-old kid. I'm 53 years old and I've been gaming out since the 8-Bit Atari days since when most of these kids were just a wish in their fathers nut sacks and the last thing that I want to do is pop on a headset and have to try and play a game with somebody who screeches and screams and jumps around and slides around to show off. No thanks.
@@babygrizwold that’s the last thing I want as well but shutting your mic off from everyone doesn’t help the problem. talking is the only way you can really learn what to do if you’ve never run some raids, dungeons or what load outs work the best for that activity. If and when I get the kids I leave or turn the mic and headset off but painting all kids that way doesn’t help the issue.
@The-Wookie-did-it well in my experience that's been the only thing for me that I run a cross and being an older gamer I would rather game out with older people. I understand the loadouts and everything for the raids and dungeons Etc but unless it's a group of friends of mine I really don't want to run that kind of thing. It's different hearing helpful useful information from a friend then from a stranger on a headset screaming at you because you're not wearing the same stuff or laughing at you. It gets really old. and all the years I've played Destiny and Destiny 2 I've only encountered like a couple of people that were actually nice and helpful and that added me. Everybody else just does their own thing. But I hear you.
One of my friends is like this but they also don't ask to learn anything new either! Meanwhile they don't even know when to use their melee/grenade, i thought all these things came naturally? I mean when i was playing Destiny 1 a decade ago, i knew exactly what to do and stuff, even with this new game The First Descendant i knew all what to do, are some players just bad at exploring possibilities?
Lmfaooo damn My int is usually around 90-120 no mods. What he called me out for is low res. Cause i usually have 30-40. But thats bec im a hunter and most of my armor was built for mobility recovery and int playstyle
@AtenSol12 I run 30 res as hunter. I run trip 100s with int, mobility and recovery. In pve it's noticeable but in pvp you only get 30 extra hp. It can effect how many and how often your 1 shot. Or how many head body shot combos are needed to kill you. You might lose some 1:1 encounters if you miss a headshot or don't fire first. However this is manageable. I'd rather have 40res but the stats are so close I'd have to get crazy lucky to lose 4 stats elsewhere and gain 4 more res to hit 40. Hasent happened yet. I'm pretty squish in pve however So I just run a second build with pve. My exotics change anyway so I can use 10 Resilience. You should have two sets anyway. 1 for pvp, 1 for pve, then later, specific sets for various different exotics. Some content might see you switching to several different pieces of gear, weapons or even subclasses or aspects.
I inspect everyone before any raid or gm. if they dont have anti champ, an exotic armor and weapon, and orb mods, i just move on. More ppl have surge and orb mods for dmg types they arent even using... Onslaught especially taught me most bad players think they are the best and they cant even identify if someone is good or not.

Tks. So now I know. One day I'll even figure out how deepsight harmonizes work.
@@hannaahlin5277it does increase the performance of a guardian tho, because if you're underleveled you're dealing less damage.
You're right tho 😁
The only thing in the video i do is actually the first one… but just while i do some bounty’s/quests that need specific weapons kills. Hope it’s understandable. Or weapon Catalysts that just need around 100kills… so i don’t have to do Grasp of Avarice and can do other things meanwhile.
Great Video! ❤
Saving the new lights in dares was so much fun ! I forgot about that 😂😂
We literally had veterans show up like dont worry guys, we gotchu 😂
I always hated having to use certain weapons, but the build I ran at the time destroyed the champions so quickly that it didn't matter if I ran a champion mod.
Bruh I ran "Operation save the New Lights" over 500 times that damn banner has not and will not come off my character. And now I hate Dares lol.
@@happystate2480 i dont blame you. You did your service to the community.
The super thing really has no excuses now like I notice I get hella more supers now with the changes they made in final shape.
Omg I didn't know I needed to pass the orb in that strike 😭 I was just always immediately throwing it at the boss
You only need to do that if it's the nightfall version, because it increases the power of the orb to do more damage to the boss's shields. If you don't do it, her shields will only take a third damage or less depending on how hard the nightfall is (legendary, master, GM).
@@infinitedeath1384 ohh, that's a good thing to know, thanks!
When I started playing I deleted nearly all of my weapons because I thought that you only have your inventory to store your weapons😅
For pit of heresy you can actually leave the dungeon and load the checkpoint, it will respawn you after the doors if you dont know where to go.
What is the thing at the start mentioned about having infinite heavy ammo?
In the Corrupted strike I’ve gone full circle and actively throw the ball away if someone passes it to me… if I wanted the ball I’d do it myself
Holy shit, realizing most of these applied to me pre-S16, and I'm playing since season 5...
2:40 i legit have over 1k hours in destiny and i NEVER knew you have to charge the orb 😭
4:12 - I still do that somtimes, even to this day and I've been playing since Forsaken, so yeah...
funny fact,at 1:40 upon sharing your settings for arial dz i have notice your field of view at 105 and if I remember correctly you were suggesting on some old videos to play at 80-95 that range. have you changed it recently? if so an updated video of that would be nice.
It’s my settings… check the name lol
Great Video!!!! What weapon ornament are you using for the outbreak?? I need that red dot..its clean lol 😂
Hey, can you tell me what's that weapon's name you use here? I don't play Destiny 2 for years lol

I feel called out, when he says "bad exotics " and its the one I use... Mechaneers Tricksleeves... I must say, i dont feel it does much
Im a titan with 2000 or so hours and I still punch explosive ads.
Only difference is I SURVIVE it now
I punch the exploding enemies because I find it funny, it's even better when I survive the experience.
2:41 I didn’t know you needed to charge it up I just thought you grab it and throw it at the boss.
Don't forget the guardians that do strikes and try to use there sparrow to skip the first section in said strike and die then you stroll up to them and revive them
my boy mechaneers tricksleeves catching crazy strays out herr
Bro, my girl has 2000 hours in game and I still have to remind her about the orbs in The Corrupted.
When I’ve been playing for 9 years and literally do everything mentioned in the video:
gee i dont want to be a noob i better watch asap
2:40 I've played destiny so much that for a while everytime I did this strike I'd perfectly toss the orb from where you get it then directly at the boss never knowing that passing it though players buffs it until a few months ago. BTW I've also kept up with d2 since the year when forsaken expansion was introduced
I have a build but people don’t understand it. I wear the exotic Oathkeeper with my overpowered legendary Arsenic Bite-4b with both Dragonfly and Explosive heads and I’ve fine tuned it to the most damage possible.
every time exploder shank kill me while im charging my burning fist for the boss
I should work on build crafting, but I barely have time to even play.
I learned Jumping in FPS Games from Metroid Prime :D.
Noobs aren't the only ones with bad fashion. Sometimes I make my fashion so bad on purpose to make my friends laugh. We went into an IB match and all had mismatched armor and colors just for the hell of it.
Ahh yes, ill need to spend 10 hours geting the best build before i even get white khovostov
Me watching this video hoping that I am not one those noobs after hundreds of hours playing the game lmao
I did not watch all of it but also the blind well 3 orb as well for the hive version 😐 same as the strike you need to pass it to a friend to make it go super boom!
I was done when i saw an Void Warlock with Crown of tempests
This is why people think the D2 community is elitist trash. New players don't = horrible. New player = new player. Be better.
He said right at the beginning that its all relatable and we were all noobs at one pt. Wouldnt say hes being aggressive, just listing more common mistakes when youre new.

Shadow Destiny is just experiencing mitosis out here. Bro keeps duplicating.
Wohoo im still a Noob with almost 3k Hours Playtime

How to be better at this game in the movement and aiming category: making your own key binds and settings and you will see a massive improvement in how you play.
Man I miss the old PvP improvement videos that had like lo fi music 😔
exotics for noobs = ooh! a piece of candy

I do them for fun sometimes lol
I think they mean participating in them. You can just show up and get the chest.
I do them for transmog bounties.

The Corrupted strike could be easily handled if the Destiny community was like nearly every other one out there and actually communicated. People never say or type anything.
Same with breach executable, chances are if you type to not go to the boss half the time noobs won't go, and then just watching the video he just stares at the noob expecting some sort of eureka moment from nothing? smh
Luckily I have game chat off.
8:07 These wall hacks are insane. Im glad I missed this meta.
I've been playing destiny since d1. I still really suck at jumping puzzles.
Destiny Veterans, be honest: how many things on this list do you guys still do? tell us which things too!
To be fair, you can use any hunter subclass with nighthawk as long as you're using still hunt.
There's no need to run anything other than prismatic though, since it pretty much has everything the hunters could want.
When I heard the stat thing I thought I would get called out. I’ve been playing for 3 years and my resilience is 128 with no mods
Lmfaooo damn
My int is usually around 90-120 no mods.
I'm pretty squish in pve however
So I just run a second build with pve.
For the public events I kinda understand that noobs don't know about making the public events heroic
"probably a noob" or just someone who doesn't give af.
Yup, we have one in the team. Gear and guns are the same since 1867. "I just wanna shoot bad guys" is his motto 😂. (Btw ; he always has the most kills!)

How dare you slander the Mech Tricksleeves…
Double Rocket Sidearm quick swapping is the most fun I’ve had in Destiny since shadestep cancelling.
khvostov and the healing ar might be the only time to run double ar for pvp cuz of the healer helmet
Been playing destiny since D1 and never used DIM I brute force my builds 🦍🗿🗿
D2 just doesn't bother too explain so many things to new players, such as crouching.
Yeaaaa most of these you can chalk up to ignorance....but the no attempt at buildcrafting is where I start judging..... build crafting has never been more simplified and pushed onto you. It's wild to see most guardians just don't have a clue how to Destiny 2
Why have 3 separate accounts that are the same content? Not complaining just curious
