Wow that's a deal. How did you find such a thing? I got a 2000 E320 for $4,084 with about 150000 miles on it 9 months ago and the engine isnt bad and it has AC/Heat but the car is kind of beat up. Worn paint, weather stripping on one door, little rust specs here and there. It has a ripped driver seat, warped steering wheel, interior smells like glue and crayons, the battery that was in it was old as a dinosuar. Back seats dont look too bad but it was an overall dirty interior. I spent so much money the past 9 months replacing stuff that I should've gotten this car for at least $1,700. I overpaid for sure.
I got like 4 months ago 2000 E320 with 94k miles 4Matic , really good condition for around 6k, drives like dream, did service on transmission fluid. Replace brakes and rotors and that's about it. No leaks , inside looks good . Plan to keep him forever
Seats might be different bc of different body types in them, if there was a skinny dude in the 430 and a larger person in the 320 then it will be more worn down.
I just got a e320 a couple days ago 200k miles almost perfect interior. What are some tips or maintenance things I should check on when I take it to get serviced soon?
I just got a 2001 with 193 km (canadian) my friend who's a mechanic sold it to me and drove it for a while. Says it has no hidden issues. I had to change tires, oil change, alignment, brake pads. Just do regular maintenance and service the transmission in the future.
@@JoesGoldenGarage last time i checked the wagons weighed less the sedan plus the long body is good on the freeway for aerodynamics and stability. honestly a nice wagon like that to a 20 yeaar old is a pussy magnet if you ask me.

Other than the oil change i would have a transmission fluid change with filter. if there's no warning lights on your in good shape

Rarely the lower control arms need to be changed too.

the e320s are quicker but the 430s wont lose that power if you were to have 4 people in the car.
I agree. My 430 could roast the rear tires. Not so much in the e320. They are both gone now. Oh well.

Lol I got my E320 from a manager at a Mercedes location as well
Mine's a Hawaii/South Carolina car with 180k miles and it's in excellent condition. Practically zero rust, just the paint's a little worn in spots.
