It’s amazing I’ve had a 99 and a 2000 and they’re absolutely amazing vehicles. I still drive my 200 at 127,000 miles. It’s literally just an all around amazing car

I have a 2001 E320 Avantgarde wagon with 291k. My one and only daily driver and still drives amazingly. Get comments all the time on it. Has more options that some newer cars today. 189U blue black with anthracite leather.

These are really amazing cars. I have one -- a 1999 Mercedes E320 sedan (not the wagon) with some 180k miles. The mechanical parts are so reliable, and well-built, so powerful, and it's so smooth to drive around as a daily driver. Electrical switches do break down and I'm not a fan of it. But, really, it doesn't hurt if I need to order another one from ebay for some few bucks. What matters to me is that the car as a whole never breaks down on me in the middle of the way. If well-maintained, these would drive like new and would go on for another 10 years or more. So much life left in them. I didn't even encounter any rust issues since I take it to a car wash every two weeks or so. The only regret after seeing your car is that it's a wagon, and so much more space.

A german motor journal wrote about the 210: Regarding rust the worst E-class until now, mechanically though the best E-class until now.
    Cheers!

I used to live next to Cherry Creek and I own the exact car only 2WD. Don't worry about the surface rust the metal is so heavy that it can be ground right off. Any repairs take it to McGee Motorsport Mercedes Shop at Dahlia and Evans. They are the best. They ran Murray Motors service for over twenty years. You won't be disappointed.

From Belgium : I bought an '98 avantgarde E240 wagon with 44.500 km (27.100 miles ) lowered and AMG 18" rims, xenon, parkassist, etc...
The S on the chifter means Standard, not Sport , the W is for Winter ( starts in 2d gear)

Hey! Nice car. I have the very same Alpine in mine S210 E 240 wagon. The headrest was stuck, but was easy to fix. Two screws at the rear bottom of the seat, then the cover comes of. You pull out the headrest holder and slide the whole motor unit to the side. Then there is a litte pcb attached to the small motor. Re- solder the cotacts and probably the headrest will move again.

You may need to reset the power headrest. It's simple all you have to do is put your key in position 2 before start engine and move your seat all the way to the front and go back all the way. This step will reset your headrest and should work as normal. Can do it standing by the front seat with door open.

Niiiiiice. I have the w210 e320 sedan inline6. The wagon is a bit like hens teeth and if i find a good one it will be my luck. Mercedes always have parts they are so well organised as a company. And that merc ride quality, soo smooth. Im gonna stop here and go for a drive.

I have had my 2002 e320 wagon for around half a year now, got it after replacing the interior with my uncle (he is a mercades mechanic and is building out his to be a super wagon). It runs well at 191k miles now, i have put a little more then 1k miles total onto it. I tend to hover around 18mpg which could be better but i got it for free pretty much so no complaints from me. Been a great first car

Mine's the last; 2003 E320 Wagon. Just flat love it. Oh, a little rust, and a few other things. Michelin Defender LH all around, and new OEM brakes. 189k and marching on. $2800.

I bought my 2000 E320 wagon in 2021 for $1,400 with 180,000 MI and everything works. The only things that was wrong it were dash speaker covers were cracked and had a rear differential seal leak. It can be costly, so it was recommended that I fill it up with one bottle of blue devil motor leak seal, and the rest with mobile glycol 220 oil from a buddy's motor shop and I haven't had a leak since, daily driver currently at $209,000 mi and I totally love this car and there's a lot of them out there cheap with out needing much work. Super easy maintenance. I'm never getting rid of it.

@@MOUSEBOWEN It's pretty self explanatory. Remove headrests; they have holes to plug into after the middle seat is down. I use mine as a truck/dog hauler. E320 biz up front, hauler in the back.

officially, you are allowed to use those seats if you are below 155 cm if I'm correct, but almost no one knows this, so you won't get punished if you bring a friend in it. if you have short friends, its perfect, if not then its still good, because i travelled in such a trunk about a 150 kilometers with a friend, when we were both around 175cm. it wasnt too comfortable, but we had no problems, and it was hella fun, cus my teacher is driving kind of crazy :D
