    Great video! Thank you so much. Many people have this problem with their Volvo XC90 and most of them say that there is no solution but actually there is. Really good how-to video.

    I got a peice of trim from a junkyard but it was corroded with spots and dull. mothers made it look like new. no joke.

    This is the correct way to apply a polishing paste. But if your laundry has no trace of blackening, caused by oxidation, this metal is not polishable

    Can this be done with Super Fine (0000) Steel Wool?

    I just tried it on my dad's pass at with ultra fine steel wool. And it was still a bit marred. Either way, trim on my gm and exhaust tips are next. We'll see about the longevity of it.

      @@patrickanthony3632 the trim on my dads passat is still chrome look. The hazing disnt come back. It worked well on the exhaust tip but youll get soot there regardless

      Yes, there were tough spots I needed to do several times. It is worth while though.
