Praying for the families
My mechanic told me to fully tank my diesel peugeot. Iow no half full tamk. . It helped. The onboard computer engine warning lamp, dissapeared after that strategy. The city is cribbled cause somebody forgot to properly fill the shipfuel storage. In the cold the condense water builds quick.
Virginia said they can help.
The big thing no one is talking about is the lack of protection for the bridge piers.
If the piers were protected by a concrete barrier....the bridge collapse would not have happened.
The cost of protecting the piers is small, compared to the cost of the bridge.
Do you have any idea how much energy you would have to displace with a 90,000+ ton vessel traveling at 8 to 9 knots. The pile would have to be as big if not bigger than the ship. The amount of kinetic energy that ship had would be around 942,000,000 J.
@@mikesradiorepairLMAO dude check out the Birds Eye view of the Skyway bridge and Tampa. They’ve saved the bridge twice now since the rebuild after the OG collapsed in 1980.
@@mikesradiorepair You just have to make the water so shallow that the ship runs aground. Also build the pylons on small islands, so the ship gets stopped before it reaches them.
Get a path open for ships worry about the rest of the bridge aft port is open
🙏🙏🙏
Bullshit happens everyday.
A busy port is well populated by people who know bridges and other structures, towers, trusses, and ships. Surely, a great many people must have known that the pedestals on which the Key Bridge's towers rested were wholly inadequate to protect the bridge's towers from an impact with a ship. Pilots, captains, even sailors , and architects, maritime engineers had to know that such a catastrophe would occur sooner or later. In fact, one had occurred, not far away, on the Deleware River, a couple of decades ago. That bridge collapsed, too. With all this in mind, I cannot help but believe there was severe criminal negligence in this case. In the "home of the brave" there do not seem to be enough of the brave to speak out to the Maryland and the Baltimore politicians, to let them know they were inviting this disaster by not having installed "dolphins" near the pedestals and by not taking other measures to make the bridge safe. I think there are many people in positions of authority who deserve long prison sentences. I think there are many people who should be ashamed of themselves for not having let the public know of the danger to the bridge.
Gov will wait for the feds to do something---help me!!
Suspicious to me
U sleep
She looks good. I have been watching her since I was a teenager and I am 52.
"Filling potholes" is a dangerous job on a good day, Governor.
Please stop talking. Every time you open your mouth, something dumb falls out.
You obviously aren’t a highway worker. Pot meet kettle.
