Another wholesome moment was the last day of Runescape classic. They reset the timer several times to allow a player who was live streaming to get his legends cape before permanently ending classic. I remember he was crying when he got it.
We were all bloody crying. Such a great community, such a good game.

B0aty's chat specifically isn't outstandingly toxic or anything from what I've experienced, having watched him for the better part of 7 years now, but you certainly can to an extent judge someone based on their fans. i.e. people who say racist things and act racist will attract other racists and so on.
I've never been happier to cry for the last 4 minutes of a video. I still remember watching those videos 3 years ago. Rest in peace to your beloved family. You are a legend in the runescape community, thanks mote.

I'm so happy you included Michael Unce! When I got hacked for almost 40b he helped me way more than anyone else would. Hes super nice and streams on twitch
I see how it is bro. Soften everyone up slowly and than drop #1 on us all like that. I still remember binge watching all your videos and wondering when new videos would come out. The passing of your brother and the way everyone came together to help you in your time of need made me proud to say I have played Runescape for over 15 years at the time. There are even times now where I think of people I once talked to and wonder how they are doing and what they are up to. Oddly enough I met my now wife on Runescape all them years ago and we finally met sometime later and have been married for 10 years now and dated since 2004. Runescape has truly given me so much and even if I don't play it currently, I will always still go back to it and go on runs of playing it here and there.
The most wholesome part of runescape to me, is your videos... I absolutely love everything about them. I lost my father a few years ago, and just wanted to say that I feel your pain, and no, it will never be the same, but i believe there is another world waiting for us where everything is perfect. My most wholesome Runescape memory is, when I was 12 or 13, I met a girl in Runescape. She lived in a different state than me, but we talked a lot, and become great friends. We added each other on Facebook, and even after we both stopped playing Runescape, we stayed close. Her dad got a job near where I live, and her family ended up moving, but she was still far enough away that I never actually met her in person.
Fast forward a few years, and she reached out and told me that she was going to to be in my town for a few days visiting people and she wanted to meet up finally! I was super excited, and of course nervous. We met at a local deli, and had a great time, it was cool finally meeting someone after ears of friendship!
The next weekend, she invited me to hang out at a restaurant with her and a few friends, which sounded fun! I got to the restaurant, and it turns out, she only reached out because she wanted to get me involved in a pyramid scheme, and she and her friends ambushed me.... We don't talk anymore.
See how the story started out wholesome? Funny how fast things can go sideways :P And yes, that is a true story.
Number 1 really hits close to home for me. My younger sister has down syndrome and if I lost her I don't know what I'd do. I'm sorry for your loss, but I'm happy the community could help you through such a difficult time.

#1 hit me really hard because 2018 was a year of loss for me as well I lost my father and close uncle pretty much back to back in that year and when you said “these experiences have made me into a different person” rung too close to home for me
But even after these losses I fell further back into RuneScape than I did before that time
We both seemed to have the same RuneScape experiences which made me really love your content
RuneScape and your videos have helped me and are always going to help me through these difficult times and I really wanted you to thank you for your videos and the entire RuneScape community for that

I’m a newer player and once I just randomly decided to fight a rat in the lumbridge swamp that almost killed me while someone cheered me on as I killed it. He gave me “something for your troubles” but I walked away before I found out what it was, I only saw the chat message.
