You're not mad - its beautiful. I have an L322 5.0l supercharged and I absolutely love it. Really looking forward to more videos, great presentation. Thanks.
Hi. Im from Panamá . You are not bad , your RR is very beautiful, I have an l322 SC 2008 and I sent mine to the shop to for everything about with the mechanics, I work on the air suspension , suspenssion arms , air conditioner compressor , small drive line work, and some small plastic stuff in the interior and a final detatiling work and is look wonderful . I love my car and I will never change it . its only 60,000 Km .
Congrats Morten, L322 will become timeless icons - especially the later ones with blue over tan or green over tan. I have several models on my "favorites"-list in Autoscout24 but never had the guts to pull the trigger yet - why did you decide for a 3.6d and not the later 4.4d? I've read that the 4.4d TDV8 with the ZF8HP is for some of the owners the "pick of the range"..
@@onemorelap Hi, two reasons for choosing this vehicle... 1) As I know the previous owner I was sure the car would be in good condition, and 2) I worked for Ford in the UK between 2000 and 2006 and have many collegues who worked for JLR including the man. director, Matthew Taylor, as well as the then CEO, Geoff Polites (who was my boss), and I have a lot of respect for the work they did, including developing and calibrating the 3.6l TDV8 engine. The 4.4l is marginally stronger than the 3.6l, but both should be good and robust engines if maintained well, i.e. oil changes every 8000 km or so.
@@morten_hannesbo an easy life avoiding the potholes of UK roads, so hopefully she is all straight with sound suspension :-) Thanks for replying 🇬🇧👋👋🇨🇭
Looking to buy one today trying to find out what's best the v6 or v8..3.6.v8 ...I think there's a few about some with full history some not it's a Gamble ..glad I came on here now I be watching you ..I've been here for hours on line looking hopefully do it today or over next day of so I let you know 👍☕️
@@pb6972 The V8 3.6 and 4.4 diesels are both robust if maintained well. When the mileage exceeds 80,000 miles/130,000 km I'd recommend changing oils every 5,000 miles/8000 km. The 2.9 6-cyl engine is too weak but also rare. I suggest you look for a 2008 or younger (or even better a 2010, those with air vents on top of the dashboard). Enjoy hunting.

God I'd love to drive one of these, one of these would go in my dream garage. Can only imagine the comfort, and the king feeling due to the high seating position. I had a Phaeton and that is still my #1 (Absolutely regret selling it), but I'd love to make the comparison to this.
Danke für das Video in die Schweiz aus Österreich ❤. Ich kaufe demnächst einen L322 RR aus 2007 in bestem Zustand und Pflege. Ebenfalls in Buckingham Blue und beigem Leder. Freu mich sehr darauf 🙏
@@marklewis1651 I believe the 3.6 TDV8 is derived from the same general design as the Lion V6 platform and was developed by Ford and manufactured in Ford’s Dagenham plant. The 4.4 TDV8 was built in Mexico.

It’s a smart buy and the total cost will be covered by the depreciation of a new one in its first 3 months!
Unfortunately I own a new L460, too😂
I’m really looking forward to seeing the progress of this one! Thanks in advance for the content. Has the car always lived in Switzerland?
@@richryan8904 Yes, kind of. First three years in Liechtenstein then it was sold to a customer in Switzerland

@@richryan8904 Indeed. Perfect condition, apart from the scratches.
I have the 3.6 L322 and love it.
It needs some work but in very good condition, I’m hoping it lasts

What was covered in the almost 8000 Francs service? Was it expensive due to particular items or just labour at the garage? Lovely car!
A.o. new front brakes, oil/fluids, filters and some corrosion damages.

Well it is a dream car for me, would be great to have the range rover and my little jimny both
one day :)
I think the V8 is built in Bridgend rather than Dagenham, but could be wrong!
