I love Steve Buscemi, but I must say, this interviewer Henry Rollins is also great. I've never seen or heard of him before now, but he seems far more sincere and thoughtful than a lot of interviewers. He asks the questions so casually, instead of the phony over-the-top professionalism you often see; and he respected his subject (some of Buscemi's interviewers just seem mean to him, making fun of his face and such). Thanks for posting this!
+TheLegendaryBlackBeastOf Aaagh He is a pretty clever punk songwriter, as well as a spoken word artist, a stand-up comedian and an activist. It's best known for being the singer of Black Flag during their last, controversial 5 years, but I've gotten to "know" him with his solo Rollins Band, which got a song included on THPS3. He's not at the level of a Jello Biafra, which is by far one of the most intelligent and genial people in the world to me, but he is a lot of steps above a lot of people.
i find rollins a bit artificial as an interviewer. i mean, i don't know the guy personally and therefore it's quite possible, that he's always like that.
(Interview) was a good movie, and Ghost World was killer, but Fargo was outstanding! The guy can really stretch out as an actor 2012 On The Road, might make some knuckle draggers a little upset...
I like Rollins and I agree with a lot of his views, but dude needs to dial it back a notch when talking with people because not everyone's as pissed off as he is, and just because they 're not AS pissed off, it doesn't mean that they care less. I kinda felt bad for Buscemi because he seems like a guy who genuinely gives a sh!t about important things going on, but at the same time, he's laid back as hell.
@RCAvhstape sure not! XDXD Damn, it was the first part of the 80-s! I can't believe a thin, fragile-looking young man could be rescuing people from burning buildings and doing all that heroic shit. He totally must have been breaking a cliche back then.
Rollins has done a lot for culture in America, and although is style is quite unconventional this show is great! Steve Buscemi is great and so is Rollins.
@AnonTbomb Well, Im used to seeing him screaming into a microphone all the way back to Black Flag so he does seem subdued in comparison but I think he is pretty good at this. At least hes still doing something so many from the Punk/Hardcore generation are dead of drugs or misfortune or just unheard of now. He wasnt my fave singer of Black Flag, but I still like him.
The best thing about Henry's interviews is that they are actual conversations.
Steve Buscemi = my love ❤️

I wish they would have chatted about Airheads.
Can you imagine your house being on fire and the firetruck shows up, and out jumps Steve Buscemi?
Anyone who's ever seen Rollins play live (I did once) knows this IS the dialled back version, the WAY dialled back version, @ Del Scorcho...
now that i really look at buscemi... he kinda looks like he would be a musician.

I kinda hate to bust into you'alls argument, but I love everything Steve does....one of my favorites...

Buscemi is amazing but Rollins conducts the interview horribly.
